They also do a wall charger that comes with batteries. So that way if its an expensive fault of your phone, or just the battery, then it might save you extra costs.

I don't know what I changed on my S3 but now the blue tooth feature isn't turning on.

Help Help Help,.......have owned a Galaxy 3..19300 since 17.12.12 ....BOUGHT IN NZ...cannot send it home,
$95 to send with battery....to get checked out.
Anyway.....switch it on...and a grey battery light comes up....no update circle....nothing....cannot switch the cell on.....Have had the battery checked twice....fully charged with green light on when plugged in.....3rd Optus shop, she plugs it into their power....and whollah......powered up...
and now I need help to download my photo's (off camera) onto my Lap top....before the whole thing shuts down again.....not that I am going to try.
I have plugged it into the lap top....but cant seem to find the way to download ANYTHING on to the LT.
Help need for lightly mad older person.

And it was the best selling phone last year still beats s4 and xperias in that category! And people now desire phone for multitasking, obviously there are gadgets for these purposes but a phone should be capable of entertainment too! I do have an high end slr and i do have ps3 for gaming but you can't just carry 4kg ps3 everywhere and start gaming! People still depend on mobile cameras compared to slr's or dslr'. Why? Because it's more comfortable although the clarity won't be in comparison but it solves the purpose. And people still consider it the best phone in 24k budget because s3 has its name around the world! I'm not bragging or something, i appreciate other phones but you should be aware of the reality. Plus, get into your laggy mind it's not about 'checking out new phones out there' it was just a comparison made between sp and s3. I could compare s4 vs z1 or maybe lg g2 vs nexus 5 or note 3 vs htc one max but here people reads reviews of galaxy s3 so obviously a sensible person will post comments about this phone only.

And for 4.3 have been pulled because of complains about bugs.
4.1.2 is the latest ROM. You want newer than that now, you going to have to change your phone a nexus or something

just want some idea or an easy fix before i... moreIt is one of 2 things bad USB cable or background apps pulling to much power when you are charging to phone with it on.
E.g. if I have my phone plugged in when driving and I’m using waze., that app together with the GPS pulls so much power that the batter still drains( just at a slower rate.)
Test for you to do…
Try charging your phone with it powered off, till the red/orange LED turns green. See how long that takes.
If it takes 2-3 hours, nothing is wrong with the battery, charger or charging port and the problem could be the software you have installed on the phone of some other part of the hardware.
If it is still taking long then try a different USB cable.
If it charges in the 2-3 hours when it is off then you need to determine if it is a ROM or a problem with something you installed or defective hardware.
To do this, drain the phone battery again. But before the battery dies do a factory reset and don’t reinstall any of your apps. This time charge the phone with it on and see if it takes 2-3 hours. If it does, then nothing is wrong with the default ROM or any of the hardware and the problem is one or more of the apps you installed the last time is using too much power at the same time you are trying to charge the phone.

hello guys,
just want some idea or an easy fix before i go to my last option which is, bringing the phone to samsung tech and spend a huge amount of money.
my main concern is, when i tried to charge my s3 using the on the box charger the CHARGING INDICATOR APPEARS on the phone display that says the phone is charging (when turned off [the green battery indicator appears when phone is turned off] and when turned on [the lightning indicator at the battery but not moving up and down])
and here's the deal
i started to charge my samsung s3 5pm, the battery status was almost drained, i connect the on the box charger and leave it for 5 hours. when i check it earlier 11pm (Philippines Time) when i woke up.. the battery status was still below 10%.
i already tried to charge the phone using Samsung Galaxy Ace wall charger and still the same result.
i use the s3 charger to my galaxy ace and its work perfectly (so the problem now is the battery)
and now i tried to charge the battery (remove the battery on the phone) on universal charger and the result after 1hour is that the battery had gained almost 30%

hi, I have one question about my phone, i cant update software version more than original 4.1, and for someone's apps I need version 4.2 or 4.3.
What do i need to do to update my softwer, because whwn i go to setting than to about device and software update and choose update i have on my display write "The latest updates have already been installed", and when I check its same version just like on begining - original 4.1???

The reason why lockscreen takes a bit to wakeup or freezes sometimes this is due to if you HAVE updated to ANDROID 4.3 JELLYBEAN then there is currently a bug on it and i have also been experiencing a few things
However if you have downloaded KIES 3 via samsung website on computer download it then backup phone data reinstall firmware which will delete all data of phone etc so BACK UP ALLL

Settings > Personal > Back Up and Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device > Delete All.
or you can type in *2767*3855# on the key pad and that will do the same thing.

its a good phone with performance from my experiance, if u r lukng 4 a phone for 24k just go fr it u wil never disppoint

Open the email app, press the left soft button and select 'Settings', and then 'General preferences'. Scroll down and tick the box 'Email notifications' and the ringtone you wish.

As you know, I purchased a S4 because it was offered to me at a price I couldn't resist. That went well until I upgraded the Firmware to v4.3 and found out that it came loaded with Spyware. That had to go. Luckily I sold it for more than I paid for it.
Then I tried a Nexus 5. I'm not even going to talk about that! 'Underwhelmed' is the best description I can think of. Sold that for what I paid for it.
So move on to what? What phone are YOU using now?
