bogeys, 24 Oct 2013Some strong views have been expressed re - battery charging... moreProblem with USB cable which comes with charger. Change the USB cable. I did this and charging time is nearly 2hrs now.

Change the USB cable to new one it will work without any problem. I'm using my old nokia USB cable and connecting charger comes with S3, it is working fine now. In my opinion charger is fine but USB cable is defective.

Hey Guyz i m upto buy dis phone but i got to know that S3 takes to much chargeing and the phone gets heated after a normal day use
U need to charge for 2 to 3times a day
....... guyz help me out of dis problem
& Plz give any drawbacks & good info about S3
dont tell me about features........:)

(china made samsung change their product so as to be inferior to chinese brands), If you are using the chinese virsion, your charger is made by a chinese company (to reduce inport cost as china charges 100% import duty) also some sellers use the chinese charges in other countrys to make a bit more profit.
To fix this problem, Go onto Samsung america orsouth korea and buy a charger from there, then have it imported as a single unit. this should fix the problem.

Hi,
Can someone advice on the below after reading the whole:
1.do I need to install an Anti-Virus from Play store on my S3?
2.which Class external SD-card shud I use in my S3?
I'm frm Pune,India and Samsung customer care & service center said don't install any Anti-virus & only use Class-4 SD card upto 16GB only..Pls advice genuinely.

My s3 charger was dead.. its charge very slow this happen after few month.. i see there are other facing this same problem.. why s3 charger too fast die.? If I use another charger it charge normaly time.

Reny, 25 Oct 2013No android update to 4.2 but Samsung grand got it... very bad...Most likely go to 4.3 or straight to KITKAT,S3 is a massive seller and will recieve updates like S2 is getting.

Im new to android and this phone but I have some problems:
1- phone is so slow , when I look at running app I find alot of apps I dont use like hangouts , chat on, even viber I dont use I find kt running in background.
2- every time I enter the net I find a lot of updates running automatically like hangouts and chat on and a lot of google services that I don't know anything about them, so I have to restart the phone , I always find the ram used about 80/

dexlab, 25 Oct 2013How can i transfer my big file games into memory card???bco... moreYou can only store them on the sd, they wont work till moved back: go to file manager, in the phone memory there will be an android folder, in there there is an obb and data folder. What you need to do is go to your sd card, android folder, and then make sure there is both the obb and data folders on sd. YOU will likely have to create one of the folders. Then basically move the games files from the phones android folders, to sds relavant folder.
