I just tried to post a pic showing my sgs1 after almost 2 years of regular gaming(probably 8 hour a week). The picture wont show anything, anyway the only damage i ever did was from repeatadly swiping my thumb fast in the same direction to run on a game, but the problem was that my thumb nail wasnt cut short enough - so my fault, and you can hardly see the scratch if at all. The only other thing is you get marks that with a good clean come off.

Hi friends, Does playing games heavily on S3 damage the screen? bcoz while playing games we may touch the screen forcibly with more pressure. It may sound like naive,Plz advice me guys......

Hi friends pls help me as i cant found the option to chose update software through wifi or mobile data in softwaere settings as earlier this option was appearing there .... pls advise was i done any thing wrong in settings? ..... what's the solution as i have to update through mobile date as i have no wifi connection?

is that good ... moreFrom my google search I found out that Z is like the B
it all depends on the first 2 letters...I heared that th G is relevant to SONY and that's why the Quality of the camera is perfect..

This is not acceptable at all ...I do not know if I should take the phone to the repair center or not and if yes what should I report to force them to the change the camera :(

I... moreI'll follow your advice but this is really heartbreaking as I thought that this is the best phone I'll ever have ..espicailly that I don't have any issue with it ..really annoyed:(
Back to the S4 Camera APK ..There is only an app called S5 camera...is that the one you mean ??!
Will really appreciate it if you can send me a link to download it or a screenshot from the interface of the application.

It installs like any other app you would install on your phone from the play store and can be uninstalled the same way. It does not remove the S3 camera app. (I’m using it now and prefer it over the original camera app)
As for flashing your ROM… If you stick to official ROMs, it will not send up your custom binary download counter and you can always restore the ROM that matches your device CSC-code using Firmware upgrade and initialisation from the tools menu of kies.
I have my SIII more than a year now. and have been trying ROMs from other regions because it feels like my provider is last to get updates. And only once my custom binary download counter ever went up to 1 and I was able to set it back to 0 using triangle Away.
I don’t know if any ROM or app will help you if you are now saying it is your different hardware but is not going to hurt to try seeing that you already spent the money to buy the phone.

totally agree with you that a firmware can be changed or even upgraded if we are talking about the "same" internal parts ..Samsung involved many camera manufacturers in their S3 and that's why we have many different firmwares and that's why I can not patch my phone with anohter ROM as my friend has a different internal camera part or lens and this may make my camera stops working and for sure will avoide me warranty :)

If you say it is a firmware issue. Then why don’t you update it your self?
Firmware is software and can be changed. Firmware is not hardware, you don’t have to open the phone to updated it.
The first and easiest thing you could try is change your ROM to the same ROM that is on your friends phone, seeing that you think his/she camera takes better pictures.
You could also try the S4 camera apk
Official ROMs are available for download @ sammobile
And Odin3 is that app to use to flash it.

I was that close to start trusting Samsung and Never thought that Samsung will cheaat their customers like that...Unfortunately I was going to migrate from Nokia to Samsung:"""(
I owned the Galaxy grand for 2 week and it had the best camera I ever had FW version "GDFE01"
and based on that I bought the S3 as I thought it would be better with the HD technology.
The phone is perfect but..
Very disappointed that Samsung use different interal components in their S3.
Simply try the below and see you are lucky with your camera or not
*#34971539# to check the camera quality then Phone/CAM FW Ver Check for Cam firmware version.
So far the Firmware version found are:
GDFD21 best
GDFE01
ZDFE02 bad
BHFJ02 worse
GDFD06
I had BHFJ02 with a very poor camera quality and I'm not able to send it to the service center as it's not defect and I even can not give it back!!
My friend bought the same S3 from the same store and hee was lucky an got the GDFE01...and trust theeir is a big differnce between his Camera and my CAmera and both of the same phones are same model with 8 MB camera.
NO more Samsung again :(
