On concrete, asphalt, terrazzo, floor of car, grassy filed construction site.
I’m so sure of the protection from the tpu cases that I just stop caring if my phone falls or not. Just need a batch of that coating that makes materials liquid repellent. Then I could go in water with it too. LOL

(I don’t know) The case I linked to is not silicon soft but at the same time it’s not plastic rigid (very bendable/twistable ) that’s what makes TPU both tough and shock absorbent at the same time.
The TPU used in the zerolemon has a powder finish feel to it, but not the kind of power finish some rubber has that comes off in you hand.

Anthony, 24 Jul 2013addition to your post for "CRaz" Below is the... more...i have the s line clear gel one that looks exactly like the cimo s line you posted. In my opinion its ver good for being grippy, but i cant see how a fall would be that safe...since its a hardish case. I felt the softer silicone cases were safer...but couldnt find one when purchasing for my phone.

What you can do is go to amazon.com and type

In the search bar
A bunch will come up
You can buy from there or just use that for your research.
Stay away form the white TPU. It discolours very fast.
I have ink stains all over the one that came with the zerolemon 7000mah battery.

There are a couple of "updates" available on the web, posted by unscrupulous developers.
unscrupulous b'coz I tried updating my phone, and ended up having to format it.

The ground/ball hits the case/steel balls, the energy is transferred through the 5 steel balls and smacks you phone/ball on the next end.

What you want is a material that is both tough and absorbent.
A case made of the TPU martial is very good at doing both. And with a lip to the front that will be enough so the screen don’t get direct impact.
If you want a hard case, it should be one with a rubber internal lining to deal with the energy transfer from the floor through the hard martial.

You can find variety styles on Ebay. I have compared the original Samsung cover and NILLKIN, NILLKIN is far more superior in look and durability
