hi pls help what happnd to my s3 when i charge my phone last nyt and try to open it today my phone just wnt open and when i try to chrge it again it wnt work i think my phone just die how to fix it i already update my phone to 4.1.2 tnx

anjali, 12 Jun 2013Please use blackberry charger for S3...charging speed drast... moreyeah. im doing the same thing. after i updated my formware to 4.1.2 my S3 charger is almost useless. Tried my BB charger and it works like magic. :)

Ans, 12 Jun 2013My call phone has become almost dead since last morning aft... morehi i found the solution to my problem , i use my samsung galaxy s2 charger not a usb kind one and my battery charged full with in 2-3 hours. take your battery out and then try this, one other thing stop all apps and clear your ram aswell before you do so , running apps always drain battery and wont allow you to get the best out of your battery , one other thing download the app phone tester it will show you all the infos about your phone and battery if the is a problem it will info you to know

I have 2 original Samsung batteries for S3 but one came with the phone and the other I bought separate from Ebay. The Ebay one made in Korea and the one came with the phone Cell make in Korea assembled in Vietnam. I found out that the one Came with phone drained out very fast and sometime when charged on my desktop charger the RED indicator won't change to Green (full). There is S3 battery version made in Japan, I would like to know if anyone care to share

I ve had this phone for almost a year now.At First it was awesome - very fast reponsive and ok battery. Then I did JB upgrade.Now battery sucks phone freezes for no just cause.screen has broken twice ( still broken) .first broke after 2 week's use.i tried replacing the broken screen again and was told by Samsung that it would cost more than half the price of a new gs3 .comon this after a year of the phones release. I have tried everything but phone is crap. Quite very slow and battery can drop by almost 20 percent with 1 hour of 3G browsing. Phone is now very slow. The fake metal paint job on the bezel has started peeling off even though it's in a ballistic case.
My advice , stay away from this phone or gs4 .Dont mind all the crap about smart stay , direct call etc .They dont always work and are mere gimmicks. Dont let Samsung fool you A gs4 should have been a natural upgrade for me but I think I am going for HTC ONE. Samsung just makes crappy phones and packs them with a lot of useless gimmicky features to fool folks.there is nothing premium about their phones DONT BE FOOLED! !!!

Dont Buy...
After update my display had turned to pink while Chating.
I didnt even get warrenty for the same.
Suddenly display was gone hate Samsung.

Not all USB leads act the same. I use an Anker car charger and this is what the instructions state....
'Unlike Apple products, some Android phones will enter into USB data sync mode and charge at only half the speed (500mAh) when it detects the D+/D- pins of non-OEM chargers. To address this conflict, the micro USB power wire of the Anker car charger adopts a unique circuit design to properly set the D+/D- pins and signal the Android device to charge at the full AC charging mode (1000mAh or higher) to charge products at full speed'.
So there you have it.

am89, 11 Jun 2013Same problem with my s3...looong charging, but now i've cha... moreok ill keep that in mind , ive got my older charger that fits on this phone so ill give it a try next time i need to charge it and see what happens!! usb cables that attact to wall plugs seem to weak for me dont know why they do this we pay good value for theses phones it wont heart them to put an extra charger and usb cable separate lol
