I just can't assess the internet and especially the face book in this era i just don't know what to do anymore, it just feels like i have the simplest and the most expensive phone as well.

when i try to put sd data of games like gta,dead trigger into my external memory card at Android/Obb the game does not detect it and unable to play but when i put same data on my phone memory Android/Obb the game works perfectly...
plz help me how to put these sd data of games into my external memory card.. i am having short of internal phone memory..:(

That's why the fine print says to backup your data first. In case your have to factory reset. Don't worry, you will not lose the new rom. It's just going to go back to factoryssettings of the new ROM.

i purchased new handset ,after putting the sam from old mobile i am not able to make calls as it says mobile switched off inspite of ON ,can anybody tell why is it so?

To anybody who has the same problem and can get get me an answer:
I have a brand new s3 i9300 16 gb, with the last software update on 23.05.2013 (it's now 4.1.2 with kernel 3.0.31 - 1042335 se.infra@SEP-84#1SMP PREEMPT Mon Mar 11 17:32:43 KST 2013. build no. JZO54K.I9300XXEMC2)
the phone works well, it's a true powerhouse...BUT: whenever I want to add or delete icons from my lock screen, it gets me to the point where i delete one icon and then the settings simply freeze, with an error ("Settings stopped working" or something like that). It does that after a simple reset, too. I haven't tried a factory reset yet. What do you guys think it's the problem?

I just baught the sIII yesterday, and i noticed that the power button is quite loose when touche it , but no problem in its function , is that the normal way or is that a problem ?

My S3 display got cracked after I dropped it while putting it back in my pant front pocket.just fell from
3 feet.the front glass was intact but the super amoled inside had cracked.broken display not covered under warranty.paid Rs.7300/- ( 130 dollars) to get it repaired at the service centre at Chennai.got it repaired in half an hour.had mobile insurance but it was covered for theft and damage suffered in a road accident.does not cover damage due to accidental dropping.useless insurance cover

This morning whilst wondering what to do about the update problem, I discovered that my phone was downloading Android updates - and installing them. I then crossed my fingers and checked software updates and then - the wonderful news appeared - 'your phone has the latest updates'. To go back a little - last night I discovered that Kies Lite would have had the solution to my problem. Many thanks once again, my faith in the S3 is restored.
