And of course with bluetooth controllers now like moga, ipega and all the many others then its getting better all the time. But i will look into the windows 8....since gaming keyboards are so common now it seems, and also mapping apps are a possibility.

Seeing that gaming on the tv is that important to you, you should find out it the multi-touch PC touch pad would be compatible with your games. (Windows 8 touch pads are multi touch)

Freefaller™, 21 May 2013@ Dee™, Anthony, and everyone else..... I have removed m... morethe only criticism i would give the phone, or Samsung really is that the mhl with a hdmi lead attached is already so heavy that anymore weight would be too much for me...since the weight also pulls slightly to the side. Anyway my samsung mhl lasted about 3weeks probably due to poor connection for gaming and also the tension on the wire continuously when gaming. Am hoping for a refund on that piece of trash.... it also unbalanced the phone, and was hard to hold in a comfortable way for playing games. Samsung could learn from decrescent mhl wires.

I recommend the app "Easy Lockscreen" http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_UfucnI1h2s I now have "Aix Weather Widget" and "Beautiful Smaller Home Weather" and "Pure Grid Calendar (4x1)" and "Pure Messenger List (4x1)" and "Sence Theme" as my lockscreen! And I use "Swapps" http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=pBA6Hf7s38U and the "Pure News Widget" as a shortcut/app in "Swapps"!
Android is so much more fun than WP8...!

See the link below about 64Gb cards in the S3.

              http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-mobile-galaxy-s-iii/190649-64gb-microsd-card-issues-samsung-galaxy-siii-s3.html

After having a Sandisk 32Gb card die on me I wouldn't contemplate using them again.
64Gb cards are expensive at the moment. In the UK, I could buy one for about £38, ($57 USD Anthony), but I can buy 32Gb ones for £10 ($15 USD) - all Samsung branded.

Phew ! I'm not surprised you're only getting 2 days out of your battery with that lot running !
I've looked up those 3000mAh Samsung batteries before but the high cost means that they aren't really cost effective. I purchased 2 X Anker 2200mAh batteries and a desktop charger for ¼ of the price. If a battery dies on me it is a case of cover off, battery out, battery in, cover on, and I have a 100% charged battery in my phone in less that 30 seconds.
64Gb memory cards. They do work in the S3, but it seems that they cause problems for some people (again it seems to be Sandisk cards). Also, the cost of them at the moment means that aren't cost efficient.

I thought the same too Freefaller™ coz it doesn't felt like home with this monster. Somehow it doesn't last that long as I was expected. I'm using Tune-In a lot at work and play games at home and some calls and txt plus with all my Apps set to automatic update through network data. Zerolemon hardly last for 2 days. Freefaller™ you can buy 3000mAh samsung extended battery. I think that what you after with just slightly thicker than 2100mAh.

@ Dee™, Anthony, and everyone else.....

I have removed my ZeroLemon 7000mAh battery for now and replaced it with one of my Anker 2200mAh ones.
The phone feels so flimsy now it almost feels like I could bend it. I much prefer the solid feel that the other battery gave, but I also prefer the light weight that the original battery gives.
Which brings me to my question. Is the S3 too thin? Would you prefer it to be a bit thicker and have a more 'solid' feel (if it was thicker it could have a higher amperage battery), or is it about right?

I already have 2 X 2200mAh Anker batteries and desktop charger. I purchased them when Amazon had the on offer at £7.99 (£17.99 now):

                                  http://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-2200mAh-Batteries-Samsung-GT-I9300/dp/B008M48LW0/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369084432&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=anker+2300mAh+s3+battery

To other S3 owners... The Anker batteries are far superior to the official Samsung ones. I don't know why they are more efficient; I can only guess that they are constructed differently, but they last about 20 - 25% longer than the standard battery.
