Phone is great, batt lasts up to 3 days (depending on how much you use it), one advice - do not use any case o smth like that, it will scratch your screen ( don't know how but it will). I have used standard Samsung case and after 3 days had 2 scratches on front and one on the back of the phone. After that used it 3 months without any protection and had no incident.
All in all, phone 10/10, screen 10/10, batt 9/10, main cam 9/10 (had some problems with night shots), sec cam 9/10, headphones 8/10 (mic should be a bit higher and connector should be curved instead of the strait one)

I have this fone.... the problem that i have now is that when I play videos in this fone it plays properly, but when I lock my home screen and then try to play videos they dont play, and when I swich off the phone and start the videos it plays the video properly, but when I again lock the home screen and unlock and play the videos they dont play... Plz suggest friends, what might be the problem.

Awwaad, 03 Apr 2013when i click on the phone icon to make a call its take some... moreThat delay is a problem with all SIII’s, some people just don’t notice it or don’t think of it as a problem.
The easy solution is to install a 3rd party dialer/contacts. Which will load much faster and make that your default.
After complaining about the very same problem you are having, “TouchPal” by CooTek was recommended to me. and I must say now the contacts and dial loads like it should (like my life depends on it).
It also has the option to add it to the taskbar which make brining it up while using an app much faster and convenient. So if have removed the dialer and contacts icon from the home screen and replaced it with Waze and whatsapp.
Then there is gesture dialling which makes speed dialling look like something from the stone age.
Try it and come back and tell others what you think of it.

I hate having any third party softwares in my phone and it should illegal! It's just damn stupid, slowing the phone down and causing many other unwanted problems.Many Prepaid services here cheaper than any contract plans

Go for Nexus 4,it may not have those other extra features but its definitely faster than S3

4.1.2 on S3 and note2 are by far best until S4 get out in the public. What do you need in 4.2?
