i''am trying to set my internet connection. but ... moreIf you dont have a high speed data plan all you will get is "E"
If you have a high speed plan but you are in a location where there os no high speed service aall you will get is "E"
you need to check your service provider high speed locations map.
Sometimes you need to restart your phone to get a new IP.
other times you have to call your provider to reboot your account.
ALL of the above a more reasons you would get only "E" data service.

M.E, 02 Feb 2013Hi all! i''am trying to set my internet connection. but ... moreGo to settings and then mobile data and untick the letter mark on 2g then you will see the letter changing from E to 3G then H that will indicate that the phone is to the maximum speed. i hope that step will help u.

I should also have added under Settings>Mobile networks also tick 'Mobile data' and Data 'roaming' ON.

Goto Settings>More settings>Mobile networks first. On 'Network mode' make sure the phone is set to GSM/WCDMA(Auto mode).
If it is, go back to 'Mobile networks' and press 'Access Point Names' and see if your supplier is listed. If it isn't you will have to contact them for the APN settings.

Which one is better to have? when u root your phone then u can change almost eveything with it(in software) so u get permissions to change system files.Then u can install a custom rom and kernel which are going to speed up your phone and give u additional functions and themes so u can change your status bar colour,icons,settings look…

Initially I was a bit reluctant to buy this due to the size. But after using this it makes me feel all other phones to look puny including my old 4" galaxy SL which in anyway was a bigger screen in 2011.

I cant get a 3G signal with this phone. With the same network, and the same plan. The iphone 4s is getting 3g, but this phone can't. The service center says this is normal for S3, as it only shows H signal only. Is this true? or is the service center just sh*ting with me?
