My s3 is a great phone. Okay some apps lag but that's just because Samsung didn't make android. So the quad core in this phone can't be used to its maximum potential. Which is sad but as android improved then so does Samsung. c:

I bought this phone just over a month but today I went to my son school to record him singing a Christ mas song, I turn the camera on and switch to video for recording then about 30 second the screen is frozen, I try to touch the homepage button it does not work, touch any button but still not function, then after it is function again, this is very embarrassing if people behind seeing I am freaking out I mean this is not the first time it happens last time it happens when I recorded at home. any idea what cause this problem.

Can you WhatsApp with a person in one window and a next person in the second windows?
Can have gsmarena in one window and flash video in the next using the default browser?
I want to know this before I go root my phone.

Finally installed 4.1.2
And it's not much to talk about.
the big thing is the split screen and sadly it does not work with all programs, so forget chatting in WhatsApp and video chat or reading online at the same time. The app has to support split screen for it to show up in a list for you to choose it for split screen functions.
The phone dealer is still crap.
The one improvement I really like is the new predictive text.
It knows when I forgot to put a space between multiple words and surgest where it should be. I wrote, how are you as one word and look it broke everything part.

i bought this phone earlier my experience is battery so weak they say buy another battery back up which is 4000mah another waste of money for battery..over heat when you play HD games sometime lag and restarting.

21 hours of talktime??no chance it's got a rubbish battery and it takes liek 3 hours to full charge it whereas an iphone charges in 1.5 hrs!!

1. this tutorial applies to any ROM you want to put on your SIII.
2. ROMs for your model SIII can be found for download on the sammobile web page.
3. step 14 should be done no matter what.
4. clearing the cache partition is also in the same place as the instruction for step 14.
5. a cache partition clear should always be done after a change of ROM version, may it be a upgrade or downgrade.
