it may be disappointing, but it's not a problem. my provider version only got the update to 4 1.1 last week.
I was thinking you were having problems doing a manual upgrade to 4.1.1
I did the manual upgrade a long time ago using the ROM from a next region because I didn't want to wait on my provider to get 4.1.1
was thinking I would go back to my provider ROM when they got 4.1.1 but now Poland got 4.1.2 so I'll manual upgrade to that as soon as I have time to do a clean install.

One of the best Samsung galaxy flagship phone..I really love the design of the device,but the built quality of this is kinda bit poor therefore I suggest all those who are using this phone buy a 2 layered case like Otterbox defender or the Ballistic Maxx for accident drop so that your galaxy s3 will be able to survive.

I upgraded to 4.1.1 some 10 days back. Since last 2 days my battery started draining out completely in 4-5 hrs from a full charge. Before that my battery used to last about 12-14 hrs on full 3G and WiFi connected all the time. Any idea why??

Now it became... morewell rakesh i also faced this problem with my s3.my phone lags and contacts open very slowly and when i updated it to 4.1.1 its work fine for few days and again same problem occurs so i decided to factory restore my device and now its working well but my all data deleted.so u can also try that

for some reason I have activated the automatic answering on incoming calls when my head phones are plugged, I wish to change this, what do I do, I cannot find it in the phone now
