Freefaller, 25 Oct 2012@ ThomasCarlsson Thanks for the post, but I already have... moreI am also waiting for JellyBean, Nordic Countries NEE, but I do not mind waiting because ICS is ok on S3. I do not know what company/brand is better/faster than Samsung, HTC or LG or...? It is better to wait for a bugfree version!
For me "Voodoo Sound" by Supercurio is more important than anything else and I have been waiting for that since I bought S3!

Freefaller, 24 Oct 2012I reached the decision today that I can no longer remain lo... moreI am from Romania, since now I had Galaxy S1. That was limited to Gingerbread. I rooted it and put on it custom Jelly Bean because Samsung thought that their 2 years old former star couldn't handle ICS or JB. That didn't bothered me that much. Altough there were a lot of other similar phones from other brands that got ICS update. Even that tiny Xperia x10 mini. Than I felt bad. So I sold the S1 last week, and the next day I bought the S3 on subscription from Orange. Now, I am in the same situation as you are. Last weekend Vodafone Romania was the first operator in my country to get JB update for S3. Today was released JB for S3 from Cosmote operator. Orange will be the last operator here in Romania to receive the JB update sometime next week. Now, should I say that Samsung is not being loial to me altough I payed a lot of money for my S3? Should I buy a shitty iphone instead? As someone sayd before, apple has 4 models to update, while the Galaxy family is huge...I will be patient, I love my phone even if I have my own frustrations...

Thanks for the post, but I already have that ROM (along with about 6 others).
That's my point though. If the ROM is out, then why haven't users with unbranded phones been offered it?

remember apple only have 4 phones to update to ios 6, samsung have like over 100!

trust me the wait is worth it. galaxy s3 is apart from note 2 the best phone out by along way, destroys iphone 5 on features customisability and performance in every way now it has jellybean.

This is a very good device. I thought it would be too big for me but then I went and checked it out, it's actually very easy to handle with the round edges. It's also very light and fun to type on. It fits in my pocket very easy. If you don't know which one to choose between the HTC One X, Galaxy S3 or the iPhone 5. Remember, iPhone is much more expensive. GS3's price went down dramatically since it came out as well. And it doesn't look like the iPhone 5 is even better than the Galaxy S3 (Except for a brighter screen and easier to handle with one hand).

I reached the decision today that I can no longer remain loyal to Samsung.
Regular readers here will know that I have always loved everything Samsung, but that is no longer the case. Why? Because Samsung has not been loyal to me. I am talking about the Jelly Bean update.
Here in the Uk, O2 has had the update for 2 days now, Vodafone is getting it now, but T-Mobile and Orange haven't got it.
Some of you will comment that it is because different carriers insist on their own version of the Firmware, but what irks me is that users with unbranded phones won't be getting the update until November, despite the fact that the International version was released weeks ago. I know that because I flashed my phone as soon as the ROM appeared on the Internet; it has the English UK language on it, and it works perfectly. That being the case, then it should have been released in the UK at the same time.
Well, in that case I will be looking elsewhere in the future for my next phone. If that is what Samsung thinks of it's loyal customers then they don't deserve my loyalty to them.
