Don’t mistake an I for an l
It must be entered exactly as it is on the sticker.
Don’t type asdfg12 if you see AsdFG12 on the sticker.
and do not connect the phone until told to.

I mean I entered the model and then the serial and Kies didn't accepted the serial. And I have my phone from last tuesday (1 week), new, from Orange. No way to be a fake or something, but Kies does not recognises my serial number from that sticker under the battery. Can you help me somehow?

It has a inferior camera, weaker battery (and non-removable too), less-feature UI but better looking interface, arguably less capable graphics (but better games), and at least on ICS it's not as smooth as GS3.

And I have done it my self so I know it works. I gone from a digicel provider ROM to a UK jelly bean ROM back to my provider rom and now to an unlocked brazil/TT test Jelly bean ROM .
Here are the steps below
1. Remove battery from phone to see sticker in battery compartment.
2. Open kies on pc.
3. go to tools>firmware upgrade and initialisation
4. enter your Madel name as seen on the sticker (case sensitive) and click on ok
5. enter your S/N as seen on the sticker (case sensitive) and click on ok
6. Follow on screen instructions.
7. Return batter to phone and start in restore mode when instructed.
Note: internet connection is needed…
This will not work if you have the phone connected to the PC when you go into firmware upgrade and initialisation. Only connect the phone when told.
