its about 6 months and galaxy s3 is still no.1 on gsmarena,,now thats called smartphone of the year

I have a S3 now and plan to keep it but I still think of getting WP8 or WP9 for me.
I don’t really think about which is better between Android and iOS because, like it or not NO 1 OS has everything I want.
From a hardware point of view, between the 2, none of them can really be called inferior in build quality to today’s standards.
For some friends I would say iPhone is the way you should go.
Others I recommend Android (recommend devices).
It all boils down to the needs of the user and which OS has more of what they want.
So to rap it up, they are both a mixed bag of joy & disappointments. So which ever one you get its not going to be the last phone you buy.

Everything you ask about is still there.
Car mode was replaced with a new block mode in the notifications area.
But you can still turn on/off car mode using Svoice.
Interface looks the same so you don’t really know it was upgraded just by looking at it.

Hi to all S3 users. I'm from Romania and I bought my S3 on subscription from Orange 1 week ago. The phone has ICS now. I want to ask those who updated the phone to JB if it is ok. I know the improvements, the smooth and speed of the interface etc...do you loose any functionality? The camera options remain the same, with the burst mode and best pic options, the notification LED options in the menu remain? I was planning to upgrade next week when JB will be available with my carrier, but until then I am trying to find out if it is really worth it. I'm not interested to hear from you about speed, because I used SGS1 before the S3 with custom CM10 JB so I know how JB moves. I want to find out from you about advanced setting and options as a difference. Thanks and waiting for replies

i got a storage space low notification and was searching to delete something suddenly i noticed that a 360mb file is not there and when i saw memory It was showing 10.95gb but before that it was 11.35 gb . how to get memory and file back.
