Syrus, 09 Oct 2012I really miss BB blinking light. I know S3 has notification... moreCan’t say if the LED is as bright as I never really paid attention to friends BB when we liming. Was too busy being amazed by how the BB was like crack. In cinema and you spending more time sending BBMs than watching the movie you paid it see. It’s amazing.
ok enough pocking fun for now.
I’m more into the audible notifications kind of guy. “You got mail” “I have something that requires your attention” “there’s a message for you” you know, crap like that. The LED is no use in my pants pocket or when the phone is at the side of my work desk and my eyes are locked to 2 LCD screens.
All I could say is the lighting surface area of the LED is bigger than that of the HTC HD2 or any other phone I have used and some apps let you pick the color of the notification light, but thats about it.

I mean is it reliable & bright as BB? I don't know why manufacturer ignore such a useful feature in smart phone. May be this is BB patented.

My SGS3 downloaded a small update this morning. around 26mbs. Its still 4.0.4. Changed how the screen looks while calling, at least the only thing i noticed.

Now this is irritating me..
Samsung has released its Jelly bean update in just 4-5 countries n now sitting quiet n nt releasing it anywhere else n also nt giving a deadline or any kind of date.. this is so stupid on ur behalf Samsung..
Atleast gv us a date so that we do nt have to check every day..
They r just waiting for their Note 2 to sell in India only wen they r satisfied with its sales they will release Jelly Bean in India for S3.. VERY WRONG!!!!
M afraid HTC will release the update for One X in India before Samsung.. :(

have had this phone for a month now, replacing my blackberry 8520 curve. where i am bbm is what everyone has and ive removed myself from it, this phone makes it worth it, most amazing gadget i have ever owned!! highly recommended

Guys, please see this link. I think if this company will enter in global markets witch such phones, some companies could be in trouble. Today, Softbank announced their new collection of mobile phones, and on Thursday Ntt Docomo(Japanese largest) carrier will announce their awesome phones.
