jayK, 01 Oct 2012my charger is the original samsung charger i got with this ... moreyou wasn't mention clearly and my statement pretty much answer part of your question. Any way...it's come down to your device's functions being left on eg...wifi, gps, bluetooth, sync, data...etc Because all these Apps will slow down the charging time. You might need to restart from time to time to let the device refresh properly and so the Apps or the phone itself will run better. Hope that help a little bit

I use Firefox myself. I also have Opera on my PC and the download works with both of those so I don't think it is the Browser causing his problems.
Your suggestion of trying a different PC sounds logical though. I tried uploding the file to my Dropbox account for him but it was refused (the file size was too large).

Just Googled the error code now and doing a system scan to try fix any corrupt file that may be causing my issues

Er... NO. The zip file you need is definitely 774Mb. Try Hotfiles again. Here in case you lost the link...

Ha Ha.. Loved that one.
When you have a folder open (any one), you will see 'Tools' on the menu bar at the top. Click on Tools\Folder options...\View.
Halfway down there is a box marked 'Hide extensions for known file types' which is probable ticked. Untick that box.

I wouldn't know about the SamMobile files, I gave up on that site a long time ago; it's so slow. It takes about 10 minutes just to sign in!
Anyway, most of their downloads redirect you to Hotfiles anyway, so you might as well just go there to download what you want; which you have already done.
