The device is almost perfect, it has one problem, that its battery runs out very quick, you'll have to charge it daily. This goes with all smart phones, it consumes lots of battery energy.
It is better than iPhone 4S in everything, plus you can get any application you want for free.

amita batcha, 28 Aug 2012friends, please answer me , which phone is better samsung s... more808 = bad web browser ( find diff. browser on the net ) with lots of functionality, good build quality, and innovative technology...symbian with user friendly UI
s3 = non reliable plastic casing with tons of application, games, and capabilities...android with versatility of customization.

basically its up to your own perception and expected function of the phone in our daily needs. im an s3 owner for almost 3mon with no lag, hang at all and it last for almost 3days before charging but sadly i'm not satisfied. hoping that nokia wp8 with pureview technology rocks before copying happens ( s-view,i-view ).

Mobilemaster, 28 Aug 2012WP8 isn't out yet, and I suppose it will be just as boring ... moreAndroid is saddled with potential lawsuits, so the OEMs will definitely want to have a Plan B which right now is Windows Phone 8. Unlike Android, it is very clean in terms of patents in fact Android manufacturers pay Microsoft license fees for smartphone patents.

Thus, Windows Phone 8 is looking to be very attractive to phone manufacturers right now.

if u wanna try the independent OS with no limitation (after rooted, tweaked & used custom ROM), then u should try an Android a.k.a SAMSUNG GALAXY S3. But if u a hardcore of photographing, just choose Nokia 808 Pureview with more boring OS, Symbian Belle (for my opinion). No heartfeeling and peace.. :)

                                      but lesser pricetag!

GS3: still good cam. 8mp. quadcore, 1GB RAM, 4G, lots of preinstalled, waiting antil you sleep lol, rich google play, etc. (dis plastic copy, lagy, ban, etc)
and much expensive (but i think its reasonable)

                                      so go to gs3 period!
