i wonder why there are lots of problems that is related with the body material of this phone (samsung galaxy s3) ? 'Major of them said there is a crack on polycarbonate plastic body, whereas the other had a metal edge chipped off like a notch. And some have the shattering glass or cracks.' The awkward truth was the owner said this phone are handled with care, and some of them dropped this beast only 30-40 cm ! I wonder if these are REAL problem whatsoever ? So, what is the function of polycarbonate (once know to be durable) & is 'corning gorilla glass 2' became 'bunny scrap glass tofu' ?! And, are these kind of problems occur only in blue version, or white version, or both ? Need answer a.s.a.p ! Thanks in advance.. (p/s : dear SAMSUNG, please take care of your loyal customer for your own company sake ! If you still stick with these (minimise the materials quality to get a maximum amount of profit, i'm afraid u will later become a history..)

PLS let someone teach me how to install apps on memory card instead of phone sd memory. I only got 11gb of space for app storage in phone which is extremely small. pls let someo

Samsung makes good phones with new features but the root of it is always a copy of some other product.........viz.S2 from iPhone4s, GS3 from HTC One X. Not only products but even some features like "Samsung Chat On" which is basically derived from BBM (Blackberry Messenger). They want everything in their phone. They almost try to fit each n every good feature of another product in comparison but ultimately get nowhere. I have sold my GS3 just after 15 days....Not worth a buy for so much Cost. HTC One X has a better review than SG3 in terms of product quality & design too. According to a recent survey by JD Pacific study HTC is more ahead with 798 points as compared to Samsung with 769 points whereas the iPhone4s has topped the score with 839 points which is a way ahead of Samsung. So you can judge urself. Also if u are an application lover then remember the best applications are always first lauched on Apple iTunes store while it is later copied and then launched on Android Play Store. Wish u Good Luck with ur SG3.....

The worst thing abt it that even after using a 3G connection of the fastest mobile operater there is a lagging problem in the device. I kept 2 phones viz.Galaxy S3 & iPhone4s & checked with the speed at a similar place in speed test....the speed is nearly same....but the problem in GS3 is that it suddenly leaves 3G Network from nowhere. Also i have some areas in my home where i dont get a 3G network easily where i tried with both the phones viz.GS3 & iPhone4s in which i found the iPhone was able to hold on to the network with proper speed while GS3 couldnt even catch the 3G network. Also the DATA (MB or GB) used in GS3 is more as compared with the same use in iPhone4s. GS3 uses a lot of RAM while the Android system is working so the phone goes slow and also gets hanged up unlike the iPhone4s. As per my Hands of the gadget i have come to a conclusion that iPhone4s still rules. Thats why its called "THE MOST AMAZING IPHONE YET"

Please note before buying S3 You can NOT move apps to the SD card or install them there. You could do this on Galaxy S1 & S2, but not on S3. No app will override this and help you do it. It is NOT possible for this phone.

chan, 04 Aug 2012Does anyone have an issue on their sgs3(international versi... morewell thats common for a superamoled display... i own galaxy note n when i watch video on dark or play games, there is an appearance of dark patches on dark background which disappears slowly... i guess thats due to overheating of phone n thats screen burn but for a temporary time... note has same display as S3... its okay... ur device dont have any probs...

Great hardware but Touchwiz is just the worst UI IMO, (I downloaded HTC Sense themes from Google Play to try and obliterate it). It was fine until I ran the 1st available update on the 3 network, 3rd of august 2012, not Jellybean but "Improves system stability". Now the battery drains almost completely within 6 hours (whereas before it would be about 50% after getting home from an 8 hour working day), the GPS struggles for location and it constantly crashes when multi-tasking. WTG Samsung/3

They pulled the same shit with their TV!! They put in a cheap capacitor, the $1200 tv broke 2 months after warranty expired, they have had thousands of complaints about the same thing, they refuse to fix it, I called them, emailed them, contacted lawyers. Had to throw away POS tv after 2 years!! Their so called customer service is ridiculous!! Don't ever buy a samsung anything.

Hi I got sgs3 4 days ago earlier I had sgs 2 and note I found this one is fantastic I got new experience with same Os ics than previous one Just because of plastic body one can't ignore such a master piece of modern tech to palm and gives me great value for money

There are a few things you can try.
Click on the phone icon and then press the left menu button and select 'Call settings'.
1) There is an option marked 'Use extra vol. for calls'. Make sure that is ON.
2) There is another option marked 'In-call sound EQ settings. Select that and on the folling option choose 'In-call sound EQ'. Select 'Clear sound'.
3)There is a setting called 'Additional settings. Select that and wait until it loads, then make sure that the option 'Noise reduction' is ticked.
