In the interest of customers.
Technology is really changing very fast example:- Mobile phones with quad core cpus. Who is really wanted them, customers or mobile maker companies. Even my 5 year old computer has single core cpu and just 1 gb ram and it handles all tasks smoothly with windows 7. I don't know why mobile phones need so much power like quad core etc. Is this a planned strategy of mobile companies to urge customers to purchase their new costly phones with high features? whether they use them or not. Even quad core laptops are not common in the market until now. Do mobiles really need so much processing power? Think about it.

lower the display brightness ,remove programes that run all time and clear memory from the task manager

awsum phone.. except for the screen..this weekend i dropped my s3 from about 20cm above the ground on tiles and the screen cracked..not talking about a hairline fracture..cracked real bad

I've used gs2 it gives enough power to normal user and you can't compare to Nokia please......and s3 what a device.....display camera processor everything is better than s2.....planning to buy soon.

200++ is used by android OS.
Just like storage: 16gb .. you get ard 10 - 12gb usable space .. depending on bloatware apps.. etc.
