              Nice list, I had most of those turned off as well. I also installed Nova Launcher and disabled that awful Touchwiz; that's the biggest memory hogger of the lot!

                  I just got my Galaxy S3 - I am VERY DISAPPOINTED about the back cover - it is a MAGNET for smudges and dust!!! And the easiest thing in the world to do is to SCRATCH that cover! PLEASE if anyone knows a solution, let me know what battery cover to buy, which will be of higher quality and will not dim the reception signal!
                  Otherwise I am super happy with the phone, the screen is top notch quality, it even came with Android 4.3 which is superb and much better than the stupid kitkat with its white background and awful design with the ugly ROUND icons like on the iPhone!!

                    alex, 12 Oct 2014Dude tell me few of those apps who drain the battery. ....chose the right setting to get maximum performance

                    1- in developer options go to limit background processes and chose 4 processes at most.(repeat it always when your phone turn off or restart)
                    2- in application manager turn off (disable) bloatware apps and some of services for ( google & samsung ) Because it always running in the background and consume a lot of battery and Ram .
                    3- don't install many apps that consuming battery and Ram like chats and games ... just install what you really need .
                    4- don't use live wallpapers.
                    5- always clean up your phone Ram and cash.
                    6- use always home button to close apps that running in the background.
                    7- if you faced any problem turn off your phone and use recovery mode and wipe cash partition and then reboot it again .
                    8- if you use the battery for more than 18 month it's better to buy a new one.
                    9- always use the original charger and battery for S3 and don't ever use non- original.

                                Samsung have stopped support for the S3 because the phone is over 2 years old now. That is why it never got KK and that is why my next phone will NOT be a Samsung product.
