This is truely an iPhone killer, I used iPhone 3 & 4, HTC incredible S and Sony Ericsson Xperia phone before, this one is the best from my personal experience, very user friend, big clear bright screen with big fonts for easy reading, excellent for elderly people, strongly recommended.Excellent piece from Samsung.

Standby time : "Up to 590 h (2G) / Up to 790 h (3G)" - Shouldn't this be the other way around ? 3G is more power hungry and the standby time with 3G cannot possibly exceed 2g !

Ok so for the people who are complaining about the heat, Its a QUAD core in a 8.6mm thick body.... Why are you complaining, get a cover. The phone itself, its really great, i dont know about the complaints that its sluggish, mine is showing off the quad core quite nicely. For the guy who said the themes overlap, its not a phone problem, its a free theme so the full theme must be purchased first then it runs properly. all the other app related questions are easy, none of them have been tested on the SIII so yeah give it time. All phones no matter what make have their good and bad parts, and i believe no matter what on this phone good out weighs bad 10 to 1.

Did i just realise that the SIII didn't have a document Editor? My SII came with Polaris Office; I can't get my head around why Samsung will put a Polaris Viewer in the SIII. Wow, BIG dissapointment as i really loved Polaris Office.

I would like to experess what i will call my profound disappointment in what initially was the best smartphone to hit my palms.
A very nice and comfortable phone the SIII is in my hand, with nice aesthetics & visual appeal. It's actually a nice phone to use and it works brilliantly.

I had an SII and wanted to take advantage of the functionality that the SIII purported to offer over the SII (at least as i read in the reviews.)

My greatest displeasure lies in the below points
                  1. RAM: I was shocked to realise that the SIII had less RAM (780MB)than my 19100G SII (910MB).
                  2. Internal Storage is less than SII: While my SII had system storage of 2GB and USB Storage of 11.5GB (usable), my SIII has only a system storage of 11.35GB.
                  3. I have lost my ability to use my phone as a typical USB flash drive, which my SII had. This flexibility i cherished a lot as i could quickly save files on my device via USB without having to install certain drivers.
                  4. The MircoSIM slot also is not as easy to use as the slot in my SII especially in terms of removing SIM cards; the SIII slot seems haphazerdly placed.

My question to Samsung is this: Did the SIII had to lose that much functionality that the SII had? Was it really necessary for the SIII to lose that much RAM? In fact, i have hit a RAM usage of 850MB on my SII while transferring very huge files (up to 450MB) via bluetooth on my SII. This reminds me of how impossible it is to do on the SIII.

My disappointment cannot be stated any more clearly, and the gimics of S Beam, S Voice and the others (which do not work perfectly) do not replace the share functionality that my SII had. I think Samsung must go back to the drawing Board as a lot of people out there want not only the WOW feeling, but the convenience of a functional phone able to meet everyday expectations.

The hardware is amazing but I think the design it´s a little bit ugly comparing with S2.
