gs3 is really really hot.. it even started a flame! LOL!! LOL!! LOL!!! LOL!!!

"It doesn't look good. This Galaxy S III apparently malfunctioned while in an in-car holster, causing some substantial melting and burn marks across the lower half of the device. The global HSPA+ iteration of Samsung's new flagship apparently sparked into white flames, followed by a bang. While it's certainly not the first smartphone to implode in transit, the damage -- along the base but separate to the charging port -- looks pretty substantial and although the screen still apparently worked, reception was dead. The phone has been whisked off to a repair center through phone retailer Carphone Warehouse for the full autopsy. User dillo2k10 was left unscathed, but it's apparently left some nasty molten plastic remain on the inside of his car. Hit up the gallery link below for some more scorch-marked close-ups."

AnonD-252, 20 Jun 2012Did not iPhone 4S explode midflight on Australian Airline? ... moreYeah and when it happened to iPhone all the Samsung fans were super happy and started bashing, can't blame karma now that the same happens to Samsung right?

In the case of the iPhone it turned out to be an isolated incident. Early days for SGS3, hopefully also the same, but worrying nonetheless for new or potential owners. Only time will tell.

Galaxy S3 is a good looking phone in person, very much unlike from the pictures. It does look even more amazing after you touch & hold it. Surprised that I like it even more than my existing HTC One X! ... I never liked Samsung phones, except the Galaxy Note. Samsung used to have a few good design phones in the past, but they were expensive and they don't last - always come with different issues after using for approximately 4 months. Biggest issue with past Samsung phones were their inability to search & lock on to a network travelling from one city to another, after losing your Home Network signal ... never encounter such problem with Motorola or Nokia phones in the past. The only thing that can be done was to restart the phone!!

Samsung P300 and P310 were some of my most favorite Samsung phones.

Any mobile-phone battery can suddenly "explode" or overheat and burn through the plastic...! It could happen to you anytime on any brand!

AnonD-252, 20 Jun 2012I know the bulky lens and 41 mp camera on 808 take good pic... moreMaybe you and the other guys are already contented with the decent pictures taken by your 8mp devices. Smartphone is an all-in-one device, and having PV tech with it is just amazing. PV is a great alternative for non-professionals who can't afford a DSLR. Why go for a bulky camera when you can get a smaller device which does the same thing? Maybe you should watch what you'vr been commenting about and learn to pay respect. Too bad PV tech is non-shareable so there's no way other brands can produce such kind.

JackSkellington, 19 Jun 2012If you want to go that route than all phones and plans are ... moreIp5 is not even announced yet. What apple recently announce was about iOS6. There's really a great advantage if i take a smartphone with a carrier plan coz i can get the phone way cheaper plus some added benefits unlike the sim free one. Got my sim free n9 6months ago and it was really expensive dude(price par with s2), now, it's already half the price, but if i will wait for that long, maybe another excellent device might go on sale. Since you've been wanting me to try an android device, okay you win. I'll go get one after i leave for australia maybe next month.

That review was done so biased in favor of the Pureview it's hilarious. They said build quality of GS3 is cheap and plastic while 808 uses polycarbonate for being tough.....uh polycarbonate is plastic and is whats used in GS3.

808 won again and again because of camera. They kept using that. And after they made it a tie through black propaganda they again used the camera as supposed tie breaker.
