If your S3 is slow or unusable, you can refresh it with a new operating system and give it life again - for instance Lineage OS.

I have been using this phone from 2013 to 2017, then the OS began to crash and i sold it for 75 euro... The price that i paid for new was 315 euro...

I have been using this phone since 2013. For me, it's one of the best phones Samsung has ever manufactured.

Been using it since 2012. The battery life is okay it can last a day or two while using the phone. I had heat issues with it although nothing serious.
The latest Android released for it is 4.3 and some of the apps on the Play Store don't support it any longer.
The systems have started to slow down for the past few years so I decided to install a custom ROM and it's like new.

I bought this phone in 2012 and am using it ever since. And it held through the years remarkably well.. Sadly, dropped it on the asphalt and cracked the bottom of the screen. I wish it had 1,5 gigs of ram insead of 1, because it is starting to get slow.

In 2012, 799$, for a galaxy S3
in 2018, 1000$ for iPhone X
don't forget that S3 was one of the best phone in 2012 !!!

And yes s3 is not very good now becouse it came 6 years ago but it still decent my friend uses it and it can still run alot of apps. When it came out it was good i remember when i wanted this phone so badly but bought LG G FLEX 2. You just got scamed if you bought it for 800$.

Brought this phone because my friend said Galaxy's are good! paid over $800 and its slow small screen and it sucks. My dad brought the iPhone 8 and the screens way better and bigger its cheaper and 20x faster, never buying a Samsung ever again. Saved up for nearly a year for my first phone as well! :(

daughter upgraded got her s3...had it about 5 years, bit slow sometimes has great pics happy with it...use it till it dies...
