If the mobile used to its maximum extent, that battery draining with in 4hrs.
Most of the time some apps are opening on their own when the screeen is locked. But it has very good features that are to be appreciated.

It's the best smartphone ever. I have it for over a week now, and it is the best ever! I use to have I9000 and respectively I9100, and I currently own a S8500

I got the S3 since Saturday.. i must say this is a beauty. Not any issue. battery takes indeed prox 48h to drain.. screen is beautiful, finally multi tasking, nice interface.. if u don't like this phone. its prolly cuz ur hand is too small to wrap yours around it

actually, gs3 works fine, but its an overkill for kids who have all the time in the world for thousands of software. for high achievers, a simple smartphone with an excellent battery plus a good notebook are more useful.
if i want a phone, i would opt for else but a hybrid between a phone and a tab. also do not ignore the power hungry feature of all androids. it comes free with every phone. i have tried it and got fed up with it. so back to Belle.

one cause that makes someone(including.........)to buy apple phones is the glassy metallic finishing that make them reachy feelings and{as they think} it seprate them from others [as they pay much bucks for it] other companies fails to give such feelings especially samsung or they dont dare to do this cause APPLE may make a sue for that.its just my openion.

Samsung switched to a polycarbonate(plastic) body from a metal body.
Every reviewers bash Samsung for that.
Now, LG, SE, Nokia and many more just follow the footsteps of Samsung, adopting a plastic body(Sony hasn't never used metal body any, but still).
Nokia 808 has a polycarbonate(plastic) body
HTC has a polycarbonate(plastic) body
And Nokia, HTC and other manufacturer fanboys still cry for the material of body.
