Here are the 3 thre... moretry poweramp from market, after i saw its equilizer settings and other features, i never went back to stock music player...!!!
till your problem is solved, try that for change.
you can even assign a different setting for each different song and a normal setting for other song.
also check the loudness of the phone from its loud speaker preset, its twice as louder then stock player, atleast on my phone

Just received today my preorderd S3.
Frst impresion : deply disapointed. I could say my S2 look 10x more elegant but specialy better finished. Very pity samsung put so valuable machine in a very cheap envelope. The back cover is machined with low precision and on the botom side its remain a generouse open space, easy filled by dust .The cover is also easely removable on this side . I asked Vodafone to bring me a new one from a diferent manufacturing lot but as mentioned, I'm very disapointed. Samsung is in high risk to lose as clients the persons which like to fill a premium phone from inside to outside .

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2012Don't judge the book by its cover.Apart from the design issue, it has a bugged equalizer. It doesn't save your settings if you raise up the clarity bar. In other words, you cannot get the max audio quality that you'd get on a HTC for example.

I won't give up and I'll keep spreading it till Samsung says something about it (or till I discover that no one else has this issue)
I didn't buy a flagship device to get a BUGGED MUSIC PLAYER!
Want to compare it to iPhone? then make us a PROPER music player that saves our equalizer settings.

Still prefer iphone. has a class of its own. stands out in the crowd. looks majestically when you hold it. trying comparing holding a iphone 4s and samsung galaxy s3. then you know it

this phone's front look is ugly
but back side look is father of ugly
even 5k phone's back side look better
i use it in shop
i don't like look of one x
and onex and s3 is too big
so xperia s, moto razr is better choice

@ Samuel i m telling u i used both s3 & one x & i will go for one x far far better than s3 in my opinion.
but now its on u what u like a big name Samsung galaxy s3 or a durable beautiful high power speed of htc one x.
its ur money if u want to waste go for s3 otherwise one x is better choice in all aspects.
