There is no custom rom give you a real solution to the problem of the battery ..... problem will continue because the battery is only 2100 mAh !!!! But this is not the end .. These are some solutions:
1- turn off extra apps and Services that come with the official Rom (4.3)(4.2.2)(4.2.1). Because they eat more of RAM and battery. (I turned off more than 80 apps and Services ).
2 Install only important apps that use in your everyday life. Because many apps runnig in the background and eat more RAM and battery.
3- you can also purchase battery like anker (4400mAh or 7200mA) or an external battery (4500-15000 mAh ). So it will solve the problem of the battery.

the 2 gb ram and lte version is anyhow unofficially available at 19000 rs in india

it was a great phn of its tym and wud hav had lasted as a winner even today if samsung wudnt hav cheated with its international version.....
diaplay is awesome
camera is adequate.....
d only downside is its 1 gb ram which is too low according to todays standards.....
samsung launched galaxy s3 internatinally with 1 gb ram and d lte version with 2 gb ram..... :(
anf us version is clocked higher at 1.5 ghz and it is a krait processor which is too good when compared to quad core cortex a9.
it wud hav been great if dey wud hav had been great if it had 2 gb ram.

Dont forget to ask your network provider for access point configuration. I hope this will help you.

Are you paying for 3G,H or H+ service from your provider?
do you have access to the data service map to know if you are in one of the areas that 3G,H or H+ service?
is your service provider settings correct on your phone?
go in with the phone and have them sort it out.
