Example my Omnia HD can take great videos... moreAbsolutly true when i go out to gigs or clubbing i would take a Nokia its the MEMS high quality microphones that reign supreme here..Nowadays i use N8 for going out but it will be replaced by 808 soon.I tried Wave and SGS1 and with stronmg bass elemants you get a garbled mess,,i dont expect the SGS3 to be any better but maybe the Koreans have upped their microphones..
Moto do make good quality phones but their codecs compatibility and cameras is lacking..
HTC well they make phones with bags of software but components are poor but appartently the One X is better..
I would like to try the LG 4X but dont hold any hope..
If you are happy with the phone you have why spend money to upgrade..If you have SGS2 now and love it then no reason to upgrade,,I am not here to sell Samsung thats their marketing departments job..
This is a big smartphone but fully pocketable and slim as hell.As with all phones i have 14 days cooling off period here in UK.. I just wish the LG had come out first,if i hated it i could have swapped it for sgs3..You know how it is tho you just cant wait to get your hands on the latest tech.

If I take a video... moreYeah I just don't know why Samsung sound quality is actually so bad when people keep saying the S1 and S3 are supposed to have really good sound chips, and if anyone still believes that just get hold of an old Nokia and you'll see just how bad Samsung sound quality is, and g don't think even the IPhone could match my old N95 or N73, and I've tried a few Sony Ericssons that were a match for Nokia but never found a decent Motorola.

The reason for the Indian prices being so high is due to the weakening of the Indian rupee during the past few months and not wholly samsungs choice. All they are really charging is around 700 Usd which is reasonable and at par with most flagship releases

hvgrtdude, 03 Jun 2012I don't understand whats the need of "quard cores?&quo... moreOne reason is heat, because if you got a single core running a few processes it heats up and performance drops and things start crashing, but more cores mean you can run Android on 1 core then any game or App gets it's own core so there's less stress and 1 App is less likely to freeze up the processor and cause crashes.

It is distorting, annoying(my N73 Music Edition was better at this). And if you example shout, it can't record well. :)) I hope newer Samsung's can do better.

I think you don't know w... moreMost of that is just software and can and some already has been ported over to S2, and the S3 is obviously better but not by enough and should have at least had waterproofing and 4g as standard, but I bought it anyway because my contract was up and it still is the best phone right now.

hvgrtdude, 03 Jun 2012I don't understand whats the need of "quard cores?&quo... moreAndroid does seem to need quite a bit of horsepower to work is one reason..The other reason is a quadcore phone CPU is entirley different to a Desktop CPU..Even the Mali GPU is nowhere near an absolute bottom end GPU in desktop computing.

hello i have sg3 but this phone running bad i mean not smooth some times slowdown the phone like sg2 and sg3 build quality not good, in my sg3 have only 1 week but the back cover some scratch
GPU working not properly i means working not smooth. lose my money

Symbian os needs less ram n processor to run it tgats y they hav less powered cpu n ram while android needs much power, cpu, gpu n ram to boost up that is y they need high end processor... Same wid its versions... ICS does not run smoothly on dual core phones though it runs good on dual core krait processors of snapdragon but doesnt mean all chipset of dual cores will run ics smoothly n coz of that they made a quad core phone which runs ics quite smoothly... Even exynos runs quite good on ics but it lags sometimes that z what i saw in my S2... Now i think u got it y u need a quad core phone... Nokia's windows phone's 8 all r cuming wid dual cores nw u will say y they need it but it z needed to run on the OS smoothly on the device...
