When you bought it ,it was updated to last firmware?
and it does not gets warm anymore without reason

Well this phone compared to IOS devices is complete waste of money.. battery life is bad, half of android stuff doesn't work properly, phone lags a lot. failed phone.

Im using S3 GT-I9300 n android version is 4.1.2. N I cn update d latest version. As I had purchase from dubai. Can anyone say me solution to update to latest version.

Which phone is the best? I am between s2 plus ,s3 and s4 mini,s3 mini VE or if you have another suggestion .I want a phone that you can hear it easy when it rings,and the speaker is good.I don't want it to get warms every time I talk(via 2G )or just sending messages.I don't play often games.
I prefer that battery can stay standby for a long time.(with low usage only some calls and texts).I prefer also for the phone to have a led indicator but as i see most of the phones don't have it is okay.
What is your opinion?

skb, 18 Aug 2014I am on 4.3 android. Can you tell me how to root this phone?download software called "kingo android root" and it will easily root your phone.. then you will need clockwork mod recovery(playstore)and then go to cyanogenmod.com and find samsung s3(i9300)and download the cm11 file for your phone. install it on sd card. then reboot phone into recovery.. then install cm11. and then you will be running cyanogen mod.. which is good.

I've been using an S3 for the last few months, and since two weeks I've put the custom ROM CyanogenMod 11 on it (Android 4.4.4). It has made the phone considerably faster, and you can now compare it to an S4 easily. Samsung may not release 4.4 for the S3, with CyanogenMod you can get it anyway, and boy is it worth it. No more waiting times when I open Spotify or some other heavy apps, and much less internal memory in use.
