the battery life is impressive (as experimented upon by gsm arena !! ;-p) and it functions for a longer time than the s2. I hav preordered my sIII and i will get it on the day when the fone is released in my region. Regarding scratches samsung has used hyperglaze on it so there will be less smudges and fingerprints(hopefully ;-p ) but if u are so confident in yourself that u will drop it frequently then u can put a cover on it ;-D

AnonD-56380, 27 May 2012so it won't be available on Sony Xperia Andorid devices??i really dont have any clue regarding that. The s voice maybe available for android powered sony ericsson phones (MAYBE!!) as these functions were created by the original bearer of android (i.e. Samsung )and i dont think it will be distributed to other companies. They'l have to make their own!! :-D

Almost evey samsung mobile has same feature and same look.next bad thing is samsung company has launch new model within 6 month of its prior model.and the price cut down its prior model.if u bought samsung mobile of near abt 40000 even then standard is low beacuse samsung has mobile from 1200 to 40000 in same model.

many features would be common between the gs3 and any other ics running device but the smart stay feature is available only on the s3 (in future samsung might enable this feature on other devices) and regarding the s-voice i think it will be available on the play store or samsung will enable it on other devices via software updates

Same way they are not copying Apple or anyone else for Micro Sim. It is just the trend and current technology available and they want to be up to date with it. You live in India and Indian telecoms don't sell micro sims. Whereas western countries almost all telecoms have micro sims. Samsung didn't design their flagship model for India alone. They designed it to suit worldwide. If you're so lazy to cut your own sim then please don't buy the S3. There are millions in India desperately waiting to buy the S3 and none of them are lazy as you. Grow up and live up to the technology. Sooner India will also start selling micro sims once when the technology is prominent.
