joy, 27 Sep 2014I purchased the GT- I9300I from UAE. Is the kitkat 4.4.4upd... moreIm too from UAE. and u can manually update android using the odin method by downloading the firmware from sammobile....i havent had any problems till now....works smooth as a fluid :D

I just updated my S3 Neo I9300I to Kitkat 4.4.4 yestedrday, I did it manually. I downloaded the firmware from Sammobile and use Odin program and it's working very good.

hey i have updated my samsung s3 neo to kitkat 4.4 version
bt after that my phone has starting continusly heating problm and battery is also getting low.....

S3 is far better than s3 neo. In s3 there was bluesh screen but in s3 neo it is white. I play youtube ib 2g that stuck a lot as s3 neo does not show low quality videos. I think it is only grand 2 assembled in body of s3. Can anyone tell me how to play youtube fluently in s3neo in 2g we have no 3g coverage

I got I9300I Galaxy S3 Neo few weeks ago and I was reading all the comments saying that there's an update to Kitkat 4.4.4. Seems this is happening by regions, I'm in Central America and very exciting waiting for the update to Kitkat, anyone can tell me when it will be available for this region via OTA? or do you think is better to go ahead and download the firmware from Sammobile website??

There are so many variants of the s3 phone that its hard to confirm which phone has had kitkat update.
My phone is gt i9300i and still no kitkat update here. I bought this phone in India.
