muzemile, 14 Nov 2015hello! I met a problem with ma phone and I need a help. whe... moreTry to change your sim card first. If the problem persists, try to do a factory reset. If the problem still occurs, maybe you got a defective unit.

Sync reduces battery life by always running in the background. You can set how often it checks and sync ,witch may add some battery life. Just remember the more programs that runs the more battery required and the more the battery is drained.

Bilal, 11 Nov 2015Dear can u explain how sync reduce batteryturning the sync off reduces battery because the background apps like Facebook, Gmail, Twitter & etc. are not "SYNCHED" in real time automatically. You manually update it. although, I get real time notifications with all social media, I need to manually update my gmail app to read my emails on my phone.

When my sync is on, battery stats say that "android system" uses more battery than "screen."
when my sync is off, my "screen" uses more of the battery.

So in my opinion, sync uses more battery life. Even while my phone is on standby or idle, I lose about 5-10% of battery in about an hour. It's terrible. My BATTERY is not the culprit, because it's new.

Also, I am on power saving when Im not using my phone and not doing heavy tasks.
