Good news
Samsung has announced Android lollipop update for S5 mini in q2 2015 which means after March. Since S5 mini and S3 neo shares same specification except that S5 mini has a slightly little screen so S3 neo users can expect Android lollipop update.

I brought this from Flipkart 2 days ago..but its sound quality is v low. when compared to other phones, they overpower it in sound..
Can anyone please guide me, if its is due to defective piece or its sound is less

An increse in scren size should be associated with more ppi (pixel per inch) but in case of grand 2 this thing is missing. S3 neo screen is far superior than that of grand 2. S3 neo has a super AMOLED screen which is not only energy efficient but also produces a graet picture quality. S3 neo excells in other frontiers as well.

Guys the phone has a scratch resistant glass. Dont know if its gorrila glass 2 or 3 but there is some glass on it. me and my friend bought the phone together. His phone got water logged so he discarded it. we tried scratching the screen with car keys to check and there was no scratch even after trying for 10 minutes.

And the only thing grand 2 has is a bigger display rest there is nothing better in it as compared to s3 neo. And maybe the sales of grand 2 is more but that is just because bigger display has more apeal in indian markets. Most people dont even know what hardware they are buying they just want a big screen even if it is junk. This may be the biggest reason why pathetic compaines like micromax and karbon are making a fortune by selling big cheap phones to the masses.

Talking about bloatware of Touchwiz i do agree that it have some heavy software but the android itself have many useless apps like My Music,Games, Google+ and many more.
I would suggest the users of S3 Neo because i am using it since 6 months. You can manually delete and disable the apps from the phone and see the change in the performance. You will love the way the phone perform after removing the unwanted apps.
Click on Apps -
Uninstall/disable apps
select the apps you want to remove and there you go free from lags and bloatware Cheers!!!!!!!!!

Out of 16 GB less than 10 GB is left for users. We don't want these blotware and they are eating hell lot of the precious memory for which we have paid. It's a resident evil which runs itself in the background misusing our RAM resources and I fear this happens even after disabling some of the blotware. So my suggestion is to taste a pure Android experience.
