CONVEX 47, 05 Apr 2016the phone is good but is difficult to root the phone for an... moreTo root, use Odin to flash custom recovery. When done, terminate reboot process by removing the battery. Boot to new recovery using hard buttons & flash SuperSU. When done, boot phone & check for root status with app. Before trying other ROM, check if GPS works. If not, enter Service Mode to reset GPS (only Samsung ROM got Service Mode). If all ok, try cm13 by p.a.n (aka Android 6/Marshmallow), all sensors working & stable

you can change your firmware with firmware from different region.
my s3 has been upgraded to kitkat with different region

Make sure you are only using 1 email app. If you have gmail then disable your email app and only use Gmail app. Same applied to yahoo mail.
