For 2 years i used a S4 as my daily phone. In a lot of ways it has dissapointed me.
It was handed down to me, if i would have bought it new i'd be furious.
Here are some of my complaints:
-terrible build quality. Looks like s**** after a year because of the cheap plastic that gets damaged quickly
-battery was crap, so i carried an extra one wherever i went
-android 5.0 ruined it. Android system consumed up to 50% battery doing absolutely NOTHING.
-constantly would restart for no good reason
-over 700€ for this? really?
It wasnt all that bad tho. There are a couple of good things to say about the S4
+brilliant display and colors
+it was a flagship so it has some handy features
It died in january 2017, when it charged to 48% and would refuse to charge further.
RIP S4

[deleted post]Well, first of all the Samsung Galaxy s4 has another variation which is the i9505 , which is a snapdraon version. And by the way , it's a matter of Samsung's policy, who has chose not to upgrade the S4. Because if it upgrade it to the Nougat version , it'll loose many customers that won't buy a new Samsung device and they will stay with the famous Samsung Galaxy s4.

I disagree. The Galaxy S4 holds only a Exynos 5410 Octa Core, which is unable to comprehend with a high end software like the 7.0 Nougat. For further example, iPhone 5s's are already starting to react differently to the newly released IOS 10. Samsung decision to stop further software updates for the Galaxy S4 is solely for the best experience a S4 user can have. Futhermore, the Exynos 5410 Octa tends to disappoint consumers after a couple years of usage.
The current top version for Galaxy S4's (GT-I9500) is the 5.0.1 Android Lollipop. And already the battery life is disappointing. Samsung indeed has made a decision to upgrade the S4 form 5.0 to 5.0.1 and see where it takes us? In a nutshell, we already have the best software the S4 can handle so there is no need to ask for a better software version because it will only give us more problems or indefinitely harm your device than it does more good.
