im using this mobile for 6 month there is no issue great phone wid gid battery life for me..recently my frnd bought lumia 920 ..he told me camera on his mobile is amazing. .I thought he has only 8 ..but I compare it with nokia camera wt a f**k suddenly I feel samsung camera app s##ks ..dam nokia camera app is great..I dnt belive it lots of options lik edit cut gif what ever we can do aftr we take ..all r avaliable with easy options with one click..like a mini photoshop.. nokia camera app is amazing and something special ..nokia is nokia =camera

neal, 24 May 2014I want to update my s4 by fota(firmware over the air) is it... moreNo. OTA update isn't risky but I don't recommend it as kies is better. The thing is, kies downloads the whole firmware instead of only changed files and replaces your old files which is better if you have a bug previously.
So kies is better but OTA or what you say FOTA isn't risky. I have done by both ways and I'm happy with kies.

I bought S4 2 days ago and it's everything fine but a little slow and my ram is almost full at 1.6G. Even my old xperia sp is faster. My ph is currently on android 4.3. How about yours? Will updating to 4.4 fix this problem? What am I do to fix this?

[deleted post]Oh and I painted this two piece cases (I painted the front) in black because it's a black cases and then even though I dried it with heat I kinda forgot that I hast dried and I put it on the phone and it messed up most of the phone in and around the bezel but I tried my best to remove all of it with remover or alcohol ect. And the problem is the back cover the letters SAMSUNG falls off so I just removed them all the other day and it looks better now when I have my clear back cases on but all this can be covered up without a cases my s4 still looks good but it's best to keep on a case especially a protected case because without a case a lot can happen to it but I still use it without a case sometimes

Once i hv updated my s2 through fota and after updating my s2 hanged(logo hang) then service centre told me that ur mobile is repairable on dead risk. My mobile was repaired nd the charged me 200 rupees nd they also said that never update ur phone through fota. It is risky

With optimization: no
It means you can fiddle with settings and eliminate heating. Plus the heating is much less if you use an s-view cover
