Those who r blaming xperia z series they hv never used any quality product.they always uses samsung (the crap)

And battery drain occurs due to heating. So either you'll have both problems or none of them.
Don't worry, you can fix them pretty easily. If you're eyeing the handset, go for it. You'll not regret it.

[deleted post]See, this is i9500 forum which doesn't support 4g or LTE. I think you should go to i9505 s4 forum. So I have no clue about that. And that mac os thing. I don't own a mac but you should be fine with wifi hotspot in phone. If that is an issue, that's apple's fault of not integrating mac with Android.
Regarding the network issue, the phone has an excellent reception and astounding sound clarity once you enable adapt sound and I didn't notice any of the issue you mentioned during my 1 year. The phone has strong reception and manual search works fine. About the HD voice I have no idea but that's a feature of network and that is network dependent. So how can it be disabled in software and why?

Just want to check is this battery & heating issue permenant or it can re resolved immedietely i need to make a quick decision since have heard a lot from my friends that S4 had Heating up & battery issues which have got yet got resolved its been almost 7-9 months for them & samsung center does not give any specific answer.

yet now no updates for black edition since it came out of box.

Camera and performance are improved, the phone is super smooth. But battery life is reduced. The phone drains 5% battery in night. Earlier at 4.3 it only drained 1% at night. But only the standby is decreased.
