Kitkat is a real Battery Eater!!

    The S4 Kit Kat is totally crap. DO NOT expect any new features - except from a white notification bar. The phone has become strange as it sometimes does not wake from the deep sleep more pressing the menu button.
    If I would have had a choice I would have reverted back to Jelly Bean.

      1. Backup important data like contacts
      2. factory reset the phone
      3. update to android 4.4 kitkat using kies
      4. factory reset the phone again
      5. use the phone normally for about 5 days

      now after 5 days your hone will work perfectly. No heating, lagging whatsoever

            4.4 kitkat dissapointed me nothing noticeable difference samsung you will get down again s5 is also very similar to s4 not much difference... your phone designer just change pack pannel design what a innovation :D losers

                galaxy s5 already there, im still loving my s4, nothing much has change, , makes me even proud in my phone.

                  GSMARENA -what did we say wrong ? our comments refd to DB etc .. why NOT block totally -then we shall not bother commenting at all ..s4 updates have major reported problems in usa as we type this comment ..

                    NEWS alert just in -usa -s4 442 update -major problems sprint and other usa carriers -bricking - screens freezing - etc etc .. google search s4 updates USA .. GOSH SAMSUNG !!!!

                          I got the unlocked galaxy s4 from aio but i got problems with my wifi.the wifi button is disabled so i cant turn it on or off.can anyone help me on here

There is also a little more faster feeling along with some free RAM compared to Jellybean. I guess it consumes more battery now due to gallery syncing with online picasa albums. Better turn that new feature off, or your phone will drain in less than 10 hrs.

Even android ART, which should be present in 4.4 is not there. I am highly disappointed by this exclusion of ART. Hope it comes back after another update.

                                  The phone is much faster, 0 lag is there and all animations are super smooth. Can't say about battery life now as the phone needs some time after OS update and factory reset but i think it has improved
