very gud battery life......i saw 2hrs n 20 mins movie in normal brightness with mobile data off and the battery drained only 11%.....

Did 4.3 Update 1 w... moreSorry Nish i should also add that I have been nervous too force stop some apps because I don't know what they do, particularly some of the Samsung apps. I don't know whether some of them are essential for the running of the phone and I don't think there is any way of finding out what each one does unless you have another suggestion.

I was actually aware of this and have ventured into the site but have been too nervous to force close in case I accidentally un-installed. My battery life is quite good - I also had an S2 prior to this S4 - and this phone does have a better battery life.

About any battery, you should know to formatate it first ! Is not importnt which kind of battery is , when is new, is a MUST to be formatated 3 times , recharged for 12 hours , time when you just left the devise there and don't play on it or call or anything ! Just recharged it powered off. For the leptops is the same "secret" ! Then you will see the real life of battery . Of course your battery no long life is is not formatated . No seller will tell you this thing, because they no have the intention to longer your battery life, they want to sell other one later... So do this thing and you will see the result.
And I read up somthing about warm battery when recharge, it is very normal to be watmer than normal !
I use Samsung for over 10 years, different models of phones , but I would not change the brand for anything in this world . All the phones I used, the battery kept so long after formatated it . My old phone, after 3 years of use, the battery keep on for more than 6 days .

I just buy it yesterday and I didn't slept all the night to learn it's menu =)) Is amazing and is depend of your luck also how good it is or not, because even buy other one, can be cheap or expensive, that one also can be damaged from any reason can be, so do't think this way. Th single thing I don't like too much, is the dimenssion, I like small phones and things in general and S4 is a little big for my hand and how is look, but the functions are great.

All r good vth this phone..except battery back up. It hardly lasts for 7 hrs with normal use...also within 4 mnths of purchase battery replaced due to poor back up. Its now 5 mnths old only...pls share ur experience of battery back up...n pls suggest if anythng can help me with da same...thnks

Go to Application Manager > Downloaded > Click on Apps listed one by one.. Click on Force Stop (to stop app immediately) or Disable (to completely stop/disable it from now on permanently)..
Same you can do by going to Running Apps in App Manager..
Disable Apps like ChatOn, Dropbox, Google Playbooks, Google Movies & TV,HP Printer Plugin, Watchon, Tripadvisor, Samsung Apps (if you dont use them).. This will help saving battery and get you 15-27 Hrs Battery backup with light-normal use.. On heavy use expect 8-10 Hrs battery backup..
This phone has Excellent Battery Standby times.. i am really impressed (especially versus my old Galaxy S2)
Hope this was helpful to many users in general who have complaints regarding battery and apps.

Obviously Accidentally Breakage is never covered in Warranty even if you buy a Rs.1000 entry level phone.. You should have been careful rather than blaming the phone/company/service center.. And its not Funny ironically..
Gorilla Glass is Scratch resistant and not non breakable/non scratching.. Please get your facts up to date before spreading bad word without adequate knowledge..

Irshad, gorilla glass dosent mean that it wil not break.....its a smart phone n it depends hw u use it.... For any device if ther is any customer induced damage then it wil go out of warrenty.....
