Usually samsung follows a 90 days price drop scheme on it's premium phones in india.. You can check it on google that after launching S3 in June 2012, the price drop had happened in september and then again in december and that too is over 3000 both the times.. You can't understand how desperatly I want to buy S4 but can't buy it coz of maximum budget of 32K-33K.

The regularly decreasing value of rupee from 50 per dollar to above 60 did that. That is also one of the reasons of getting note 3 at 50k. I expect huge price drop at s5 launch. But it should reach 33-34 k around december.

But if you disable google now, you will find lesser wakelocks for location services. Location services are important at some point, so you can disable google now.

Does any1 from india knows when to expect price drop on S4?? I m desperate to buy this but don't wanna spend 37k coz my budget is only 32k-33k.. Samsung has not droped it's price since launch MRP 41500.. Plz if any1 know about price drop then do let me know.

Guys...
Reg Battery Issues Since 4.3 update.
I was really upset and planned to reset the phone finally today. I did try using the vol power and home key. It did take me to the Android symbol page but it did not reset. I was thr in that page for a sec or 2 and then phone restarted , may be cause I did not do it well. But to my surprise battery draining issue is fixed to an extend. Am getting 14 hrs almost now which is almost double when compared to yesterday and also to my surprise the wifi which was not connecting since june to my work network , post the 348MB update on 4.2 now that started working fine.
REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHATS HAPPENING.

I just changed from iphone to sony to Samsung... and I must say im very impressed with Samsung galaxy s4 in terms of camera, speed, functions, weight. Overall im happy and after this phone ill probably keep using Samsung. Thanks Samsung :)

AnonD-78030, 07 Nov 2013Did you try using better battery stats or wake lock detecto... moreI have had a similar experience post the upgrade to 4.3, and on doing a little bit of research, found that this is an issue with many 4.3 users. The battery drain is caused by the "Android OS", and this is happening when you have your location features (especially using wireless networks) turned ON.
Disabling the Location Services helps a lot in the battery life, as it removes the wake lock created by this locator "bug".

IPhone 5, 5S and nexus 4/5 phone has only internal storage, no expandable storage, so they seems feel fast as user experience. Mojer people keep their photos, videos and songs in sd card in galaxy s4 so they can see little bit lag depending on type of sd card. Class 10 is faster than class 6. Major people use class 6 sd card because they are cheap and easily available. If you only use your internal memory(no sd card) in galaxy s4, it will be supernova. You can yourself see a big difference in performance in s4. And you then feel that it is faster than any other phones in market.
