On tapping a folder in app drawer or home screen, the animation is faster. Keyboard looks prettier than before. It's worth the upgrade. Although one silly thing.i don't know how to restore my apps since I backed it up using kies 2.6 and after updating my phone I can't use kies 2.6. Only kies 3.0 will work. Any idea how to restore apps?

hi, i try to check an update thru my phone via wifi, and it keeps tellin me that i already have the latest update. i still have the 4.2. by the way im from the philippines. can anyone give me any advise about this. . thanks.

I saw my office colleague using S4, i was really impressed by it, the features and the overall performance, but the phone is overheated and also he is advicing me to take XPERIA Z1,
So pls guide me with ur opinion, which mobile s better in performnc lik battery,sound, over heat etc. I am so much worried about these issues especially.
So pls share ur experience to choose the right phone, i am going to get a new phone for this dewali.

If s4 is out of your budget, please have a look at xperia zr. It's a great phone in small dimensions with a great chipset, 13mp camera and is waterproof.
look, if you wait for 3 months or so, you will definitely get a better phone but if you go on this way, you will keep waiting forever as a new and better phone will be declared each 3-4 months.
Also you can see note 2 but I would prefer xperia zr.

Friends you all have been discussing about update to 4.3 version, im a naive person dont know much about technicalities, but can anyone suggest which is the best phone feature and speed wise around 30k to be bought. Or should i wait for sometime if anything new is to comeup.

its 2471. in comparison, lg g2(s800) gets around 2160.
antutu 4: 28872.
over all of these, the phone is blazing fast. The heating is completely gone. After doing benchmarks for 45 min, the back was only slight warm(not at all hot or uncomfortable).

These choices ultimately depend on the end user. A developer or advanced user or a geek will never buy an iphone but those who are new-bees to smartphne will prefer iphone 5s over any other phone due to simple and user-friendly minimalist interface and the raging speed with which the 5s opens apps.
Those who like capturing some photos and want infinite customization will prefer s4.
Those who want a great design and sound will prefer one.

Every product must speak for itself although we have ignoramus folks. To those who are naive to make research: My wife is using iphone 5s and I'm using HTC One. if only you can go to store and play around this two phones. After that, what you'll choose will make you frolic and blissful.

IS THE 4.3 update being released in a phase manner within INDIA also?? i am in PUNJAB and yet both via OTA and KIES it shows latest updates installed,no sign of 4.3 :((

after a use of sometime its battery will swollen and will be of no use... after spending such a amount its a disaster!!!!!!!

I also think the ram has done something butthere should be some other changes too.

shubham yadav, 21 Oct 2013The benchmarks have hugely improved. in quadrant i got 1703... moreYour making me jealous. jk ;) I know, sammobile had mentioned about the benchmarks being at par with snapdragon 800. there are two reason for this: android operates on RAM and and exynos RAM is 32-bit dual-channel 800 MHz LPDDR3 (12.8 GB/sec), which is implemented in snapdragon 800 just now. Samsung were already ahead in this but software wasn't optimized to utilize it. It is now i guess. clock speed doesn't really matter much.

Have you really improved?? i just can't believe it!!
and about 4.3.1 i can't say much for now but see my reply to will. That will give you a glimpse.
Also get a name via logging in to a gsmarena account. That will really help a lot to recognize you. Please do it if you are really improved.
