[deleted post]Ok. Note 3 has openGL 3.0 and openGL es 3.0 so it would run games better than s4. S4 has openGL 2.0 and openGL es 2.0 (which will be updated to openGL es 3.0 in 4.3 update) so that should sort out the problem. Well as for me I never had a single problem running asphalt 7 or dead trigger or fifa 14, even though it heated up I didn't find any lag or frame drops. If you can give me a link to your game, I'll try it and let you know. One thing good about s4 is, it cools down pretty soon.

what a shame...samsung is using the sony's QX-10 and QX-100...what the hell...samsung should be aware of there gadget coz all of there device needs the back up of sony devices.... good job sony...

For me it was the other way round.. From an s4 I went to a note2 in one week.. Actually I went from s4 to xperia z to htc desire 600 to note2.. In one week.. Yes it was really a bad week.. S4 used to hang all the time and would heat up like a toaster and battery would drain in like 4hrs of use.. I was coming from a htc one x n believe me in the one yr I used my one x I never faced any such probs.. It was getting on my nerves..
I would never recommend s4 to anybody.. I couldn't afford the HTC one that's why I went for s4 but in the end, I ended up spending the same amount.. Had I bought the HTC one initially itself I would have been a lot happier..
Though currently my experience with note 2 is not bad.. Doesn't even come close to how bad it was with s4..

So they know even if the food is not very healthy one will eat it knowing there's no better option out there!
Mine is a Half Octa I9500, and it stutters, jitters, micro lags and all, maybe it's 5% faster than the Snapdragon version, but no one knows, maybe same. You buy the Note 3 when it releases there, see if your experience changes or not. Best of luck.

I had a hope the the Exynos version would fare batter and lag less, or even fare better with the heating-downclock issues, but as you say, it might do just the same.
Note 2 was the best Phone I ever had. I regret selling it for the S4. I hope that the Note 3 makes up for it, but it being descendant from the S4, I bet I will still have many issues with it.
It seems that samsung gets worse with the passing time.
Here in Brazil we don't have HTC, Sony has a beautifull interface and design but lacks usability a lot, LG lacks both besides they get their flagships here a year after it is launched... I won't even mention iCraps with their lack of features and fucntionality, with their skyhigh prices.
Even recognizing their phones are getting worse, Samsung is still the best option out there. So their phones will get even worse as we're keeping buying them.

Th... moreI'm coming from a Note 2 as well and my thoughts are exactly the same as yours. That's why I keep saying if someone is okay with Note 2 size then he/she shouldn't buy S4. The TW was much much greatly optimized in Note 2 than in S4. It didn't lag, the stock browser was a pleasure to use and so on....
Anyway, it's size made all those positives as a negative to me. You should try Naked Browser Pro, it has a pretty bad UI but it's way better than Boat browser, much much faster and light. I think it's those little A7 cores which are the culprit behind the micro lags and stuttering in S4. These BIG.little core architecture is nothing but nuisance. Either get a true octa core or go back to true quad core, there's no other option to have a smooth and fluid optimization.

Bought my new Galaxy S4 at Sprint. After 10 weeks, the phone died and Sprint said their NEW PHONE POLICY was 14 day!! Do you believe that! I paid $300 for this state of the art phone, to be told I could get a refurbished one at SPRINT! So I sent it to SAMSUNG, who replaced the pda unit in MY phone and sent it back (Free). Sprint can kiss my ass, do not buy ANY new phone at SPRINT!

coming from the note2 to the S4 was a major let down.
The screen is gorgeous, the processor is faster and the camera better on the S4, even thoguh the user experience lags behind.
With the Snapdragon S600 I cn't even imagine why the S4 lags so much compared to the old Note2.
The lack of support for plugins (flash) on the browser and the innability to have a complete full screen like I had both back on the Note 2 was the major let down, as I'm compelled to use 3rd party browsers (like boat browaser) that does that, but they keep closing, lags and misundertand clicks in an overly irritating way.
When the phone is cold it is blazingly fast, but when it warms up (and it does that pretty fast, specially in heavy games) it starting lagin, as it is downclocking the CPU to not burn it. So when you start a graphic intensive game it performs superb, but after 2 to 5 minuts of palying it starts to leag behind the previous generation phones. You can even compare its FPS on a game like GTA against the S3, and the S3 will win after the S4 gots hot.
Also, I thought that the air gestures would be a good replacement for the note2' stylus, but it don't come even close!
I can't wait to receive my note3.
But then again, as the note3 is the S4 "brother" I beleive that my problem with the internet browser will remain.

with "ES File Explorer" One could easily moved downloaded musics, videos, Applications from phone memory to Ext SD card on any Samsung smartphone now.
