AnonD-168822, 21 Aug 2013Yesterday at my cousin's engagement i used her s4 to record... moreuse a class 10 ultra speed sd card with more than 10MBps write speed and your phone won't even heat a bit. also encoding a full hd video for long time will put a lot of strain on a phone. It's not a camera.
Go for s4 as other phones heat even more. I have experienced all of them.

All phones heat during usage for long.
Main reason for her phone to get tht much heat can be of 2 reasons
1)Cheap memory card.
2)She has the default storage for that vidoes to that memory.

Yesterday at my cousin's engagement i used her s4 to record the event but after video recording for almost half an hour it really got hot at the top especially the area near the camera...........so i would like to know is it normal with the phone or she has a defective piece.......someone pls could suggest me which should i go for,really confused between Z OR s4,both r available for the same price here............

Got an S3 today second hand to try out audio again..I still want Samsungs DNSe music player with concert hall setting and separate equaliser plus graphic equaliser where the lights jump up and down to music...I have emailed Samsung UK and they said this DNSe music player was sacrificed for the Sound Alive player..
So I tried for most of the day to replicate the sound I like (concert hall setting with either Rock or Classic equaliser setting on old DNSe music player)with no avail but have big problem..I have the volume at full blast and its quiet ,I have reverb level 2,room size level 2,clarity 3 and then mess about with equaliser but sound is quiet,this is not going above 4dB as this just quietens music to nothing..
My question if anyones into these Sammy music players is,,does the S4 have louder output? I go back to my S2 put in the DNSe setting have the lights bouncing up and down and level 13 on volume is loud enough..AArrrgghh why don't Samsung put both music players in and satisfy all of us or put DNSe mp3 player in app store? I would pay 10-20GBP for app just so I can have latest smartphone S4 instead of having S2.The S4 is still top price in UK.

If u put those all features on other devices , same thing will happen.
There is too much Samsung stuff in GS4.
Once turn off unnecessary ones and keep useful ones , RAM usage will be 900MB-1GB.
Games won't lag , it plays fine.
If you are interested in games , Don't get Gs4 because Internal memory is only 8GB (which means you can't install more than 4-5 big size high end games).
You can move apps to SD-card but not entire app , only little portion of it.
Get HTC One (it has 25GB free space but no SD-slot) or iPhone 5 32GB (I recommend you to wait for next iPhone which would come by september ending)
You can use that whole space for games/apps or anything you want where as in galaxy S4 only 8GB is useful for apps/games.SD-slot is only for Media.
I chose S4 because I am not much interested in gaming.
If you want gaming experience , get an iPhone (I use iPad alongside my galaxy s4 and I can assure you that iOS is so much better at graphics and handling games due to optimization)
Games run fine on Android but on iPhone/iPad , games fly and they are super fluid.
I have 64GB iPad full of apps and games , never had trouble , because I can use that entire 60GB for whatever I want.
Keeping games aside for a while and coming to remaining things , Android is better and flexible.
