Im an Htc one owner I purchased this phone because the S4 felt like a piece of plastic in hand because well it is.
I preferred quality construction and innovative ideas over a carbon copy of the S3 deploying marketing to sell a product that by most professional reviewers is rated under the Htc one. Do you actually own the S4 or are you just and angry person who likes to try and bring people down to your level.
I recommend anyone should buy a phone also for there own needs I don't like plastic phones if im paying over nz 1000 dollars you clearly do troller.

You are just quoting what you read and then getting upset rattled. If you own and S4 and have friends with the HTC one and iPhone 5. Try some basic experiments with photo video the ultra pixal camera surprised everyone. As I said in my previous comments brand name didn't concern me overal quality and suitablity for my needs. I could write a mote detailed overview of a comparison but what for I purchased a phone for me. Anyone that gets upset over another person's opinion needs to address there own shortfall not the phones.

One of worst phone i ever used, just less than a week my fone had to be taken to the service centre.The problem was lagging and never boots up.then i had to go to safe mode to do a factory reset and after the reset the fone does not connect to the network at all.....S4 sucks

but you could downloaded free "TubeMate" from any certified Android freeware stores, after setting your phone for receiving app from outside google store.

Terry, 22 Jun 2013I agree I can't personally understand why so many people bu... morein low light it can(not by far with s4 night mode) but in daylight and bright scenes the HTC ONE can't hold a candle for galaxy s4's 13 mp camera.

the difference starts when you zoom in. 4mp camera just can't match the detail levels of a 13 mp camera. you can check this very site's article of htc one vs GS4 and you will know that.

i know that 4mp is sufficient for many people but if you zoom in or make a 100% crop, HTC ONE becomes a blurry shit.

it surely has other advantages though, for example it is faster and is better in lowlight without flash(i'll use flash when its too dark though).

please don't spread false info among people and please don't troll here. say your story at HTC ONE section. they'll be pleased to know that.

in short, GALAXY S4 CAMERA WIPES THE FLOOR WITH THE HTC ONE.

heating or overheating ? whats the difference ? subjective or objective ? do trollers need to be de-iced or what ? ALL HANDSETS HEAT UP .. why ? fyi- ? 1 million made in china laptop batteries had to be recalled by sony inc. after overheating and reported explosions due to overheating in recent past .. SERIOUS ISSUES -- PLEASE DONOT TROLLER ..STAY OBJECTIVE AND FACTUAL ..

I have used it...It do have a lot of features, but after 1 or 2 week, you will switch off all those features except some...Many of the features are useless and also at times irritating. The design is the same as all Galaxy's..I feel it like Galaxy y in a big piece and added features. The cheap covers makes me feel iam holding something of low quality when compared to HTC One Metal body and Sony Xperia Z glass body..It has a lot of features using sensors and things, thats all i feel. I own an xperia Z now. I feel Xperia is the better option than S4..

sad sammy, 21 Jun 2013Galaxy S4 momentum is slowing much faster than the previous... moreI agree I can't personally understand why so many people buy the s4 over the likes of HTC one innovative quality build etc. I'm not going to go into detail about why I chose it over the s4 which is a nice phone. Just feel overhyped and advertised people did some research have a friend with the s4 and another with iPhone 5 we all compared photos and video on and average day the HTC one just blew them away with the ultra pixal camera. People laugh about it being 4 megapixels but when they see actual photo comparisons they get very dissapointed. How many hrs in the day and days of the year have perfect lighting conditions for a s4 camera. I don't care what company makes the best phone just feel people get caught up to much on a brand name and image instead of doing your homework.

when i firstly installed mea update, my phone started to heat up. it was ok before. i was afraid and wanted to switch back to mdk.

Hence i decided to do what i could. idid a factory reset and formatted memory card. after that i disabled samsung push and samsung link and many s apps that i don't use. also i disabled all of air features and eye features and also mobile data when i didn't use it.now after around 8 days even if i turn on the features it doesn't heat up. my phone is a cool 33 degree celcius in charging, reaches 45-46 degree on heavy browsing and games(3d) and 50 degree while charging and gaming. this is normal for me as it is a powerful phone and such processing power will make it heaT a li'll bit. there is a site showing that whereas the s4 heats at 49.9 degree max while htc one has 57 degree and s4 is hot at right place where i don't put my hands. i've s-view cover which allows me to get a call when its even 60 degree(although it never is).

also try a better sd card(class 10 ultra is recommended)

axtually when you install a new firmware, the cpu has many tasks as to set up a new firmware and optimise apps for new firmware. hence the cpu is used at heavy load and hence it gets heated up and battery life is less.

so please wait for 4-5 days and use every task atleast once so that cpu optimises it and don't worry if it heats or lags.

about lag i must say that now it is only while opening contacts app. that is ok now and will be fixed if u use nova launcher or wait till samsung makes touchwiz light ui(the contacts app takes whooping 80 mb ram and home takes 220 mb ram).

this lag problem u should tolerate the contacts app but otherwise the device is lag free(if u disable power saving the contacts lag is also gone!).
