GS4 Must have FM Radio, Yes all the other Features & Specs are Great, but why no Radio, Bad decision, will rather Upgrade to Sony Z, don't want to, but hell any Great Smart phone should have a damn radio!!!

Sijmen, 24 Apr 2013If it was not for the missing FM radio, the S4 would be fau... moreMy local beach gets no network signal because it's next to high cliffs so often use the radio on my s3, and it's amazing how often I'm hearing iPhone owners complaining on there because without a network signal the thing is just useless since they have no radio and only limited memory with no external SD.

Why can't they come up with active dual sim card slots,
it's so useful nowadays. I can choose 2 telcos; 1 cheap on phone calls, the other on wifi internet browsing. Or 1 for personal contacts, the other for business use.

If it was not for the missing FM radio, the S4 would be faultless.
I know a lot of people think the FM radio is wasted on them, and an FM app could replace it. The reality it that many of us existing galaxy S3 and S2 owners liked the radio, and using an app which relys on an internet connection can be very costly. With my provider it would cost me over $100 per month.
Please don't put down a feature because you may not use it. Having the radio won't affect those who don't use it, but not having a radio, will certainly affect those who do use. I certainly hope it comes back.

- guess what in terms of camera Xperia Z is just 2nd to samsung Galaxy SIV with 13mpxl and best in light adjustments, Htc ONE only uses ultra pixel thats too pixelize at some point ,LUMIA got an edge but who cares hahaha
- PERFORMANCE
the samsung galaxy s4 has octa core so thats 8core
and snapdragon 600 same with HTCone and sony Z,
so that only means to say other phones are not superior to SAMSUNG (same same but not better)
- sammy is easy to handle since its thin and you might not feel its to expensive and delicate to handle than the others ,you can just use one hand on navigating
- sammy has AIR gestures compare to what, BLINKFEEDS
what the heck it is for if you dont have internet hahaha
- sammy has language translator quite exciting since i love animes WHoooHOo
- in terms of speakers and headset
HTCone has the same edge with SamsungGS4 but Xperia Z looks distorted
- ilike the smart stay, smart pause and smart scroll
inovation of touch and sensitivity
- for me SAMMY is a really worthit phone
just so you know guys if youre in the street here in the philippines they will easily recognize SAMSUNG phones

AnonD-106491, 24 Apr 2013I bought my S1, S2 & S3 on release day and was gonna ge... morePay as you go and a price drop should be available by then..I thought the £580 was just a placeholder price but it seems it is the price...I usually buy from Carphone but over past years its gone downhill,,they used to have good prices and had every smartfone on prepay and sim free..The Sharp GX10,Nokia 3650,Sony Ericsson p900 Nokia N80 and so on all come out on prepay and sim free on day one at Carphone and at good prices.I suppose them days are gone along with 12 month contracts.
Does everyone remember 12 month contracts? Lets say you fone was £300 that would equate to £25 a month on 12 month contract..That what they would charge you and throw in some free texts and some free minutes..Then 18 month and 24 month become the norm doubling network profits over night..What should have happened is it should be £12.50 for a £300 phone over 24 months but it did not happen..

nick, 23 Apr 2013should i choose XPERIA Z or S4?Why you should compare experia z with samsung s4? they don't have the same number of cores. experia is quad core only while s4 has 8. so when choosing you can't really compare experia z with s4.
