Both are top end,high features quality smartphone,
but recently Xperia Z seem to draw more daily customers attention by it's lower price tagged in the markets /in comparison with gs4 current price.

I have mine running almost 10h during working day for TuneIn radio in the back ground while I am using text, reading Joke of the Internet...I don't have problem with heat, not even a bit but if I am playing game and only one game that heat up my phone is that stupid FARMSTORY!

I have an S3, and it gets as hot, by browsing if i put it against my face I can feel it was overheating, none the less the Sony does a bit more due to its All Glass body design, but BOTH phones OVERHEAT, with Quad Core Processors, by guess is that the S4 overheats as well a Octa Core processor, which is basically an quad core processor.

Sammy, 10 Apr 2013It is Samsung , not Sony .Samsung still making that costly ... moreI have checked both the Samsung and the Z panels, they both look amazing, the Z has bad angles due to its shatter proof screen and glass on top, other than that they are excellent screens, the S4 is a bit more vibrant on the blacks due to it being Amoled, other than that the Color reproduction on the Sony is great, FYI Sony is using an IPS E panel by Sharp, and by Japan JD Display, It is as high quality as the S4, stop bashing without being neutral about it.
