quad core a15 quad core a7 means
the processor has 8 cores in total in which four are a15 chips and 4 are a7 chips
reason behind this combination is that a15 chips are very powerful and a7 chips are less so when you use your phone for general purpose like calling messaging the phone will use a7 chips which are less powerful in comparison to a15 and this will help you save battery and when your need power like in gaming or adobe photoshop editing the a15 chips will kick in and and make the task silky smooth ;)

As for the cpu's it uses Quad A15 for speed and Quad A7 for energy saving.
At least its suposed to be this way.

People should stop thinking plastic is bad. Yes there are many low quality plastic products in the Market, they have ruined the name of plastics. The possiblity's when making plastic products are immense and the possiblities are getting even more great in the future with new manufacturing processes.
There are some very HIGH QUALITY plastics, the HTC One X for example was made from polycarbonate. The thing about the One X is, they used a very nice and fine finish! That finish can change everything! I hope Samsung uses a Polycarbonate back again but with a more premium feeling finish, like on the One X.

Is That CPU In MobilePhone :D !??not like that it uses 4x A15 cores for big tasks such as gaming etc and uses the 4x A7 cores for small tasks such as music playback just to reduce power usage. so all 8 cores won't be working at a time but still i am sure that S4 will be awesome \m/

The CPU itself decides which ones will be active at any moment of time. So, if you're doing light tasks, you'll have one or two A7 cores active, and you'll use way less power than a single A15 core. As soon as you fire up a game or something that requires power, the A7s go off and the A15s get turned on, and you'll have the speed you need.

It's a new type of mobile processor which uses the A15 cores for power hungry applications while keeping the rest of the background applications running on the A7 cores so that the battery doesn't get depleted fast.
