S3 lacked memory and camera upgrade, heating problems etc. in regard to s2 (I was s2 user also) But I still bought s3. Why would I buy s4 if it does not have waterproof abilities and some other phone has. You will say it does not matter but it broadens usage as multy gadget and it matters indeed. You are right - these specs are somewhat better then Xperia Z but if the upgrades and difference is not higher than Xperia Z, maybe its better to wait Xperia Z2. Do not know. Waiting unvail. S4 should at least offer some kind of non bulky waterprof casing as accessory if they do not have that technology. Also will someone put temperature or heat sensor in phones - please. It would be useful.

Here at Mobile World Congress, Qualcomm's newest Gobi chipsets (the MDM9225 and MDM9625) are the first to support LTE carrier aggregation and LTE Category 4 with peak data rates of up to 150Mbps. The reveal marks the introduction of the outfit's third-generation 4G LTE embedded chip, and if all goes well, we should see the hardware slipping into phones, tablets and potentially laptops in the second half of 2013. To make it all seem more realistic, it partnered with Sierra Wireless and Ericsson here in Barcelona in order to prove the figures. For those unaware, LTE carrier aggregation combines radio channels within and across bands to increase user data rates and reduce latency -- in other words, it allows LTE to be even faster. Samsung rule the world wide market. Biggest reason for Samsung success is it provide superior quality product at low prices. Samsung smartphone prices keep getting lower day by day whereas the prices of Apple product remain the same .
Samsung galaxy S4 has everything that you can expect from high-end smartphone .I'm eagerly waiting for these feature packed phone.

It should be water and dust proof like sony xperia z. These specs look lower than sony xperia z.
I will buy xperia z if they dissapoint me as they did with s3. Waiting unvail in march.

How about LG Optimus G Pro Galaxy Note II and Lenovo K900 all with 5.5" screen?
HTC Droid DNA, Sony Xperia Z, Alcatel One Touch Idol X, ZTE Grand S, LG Optimus Vu, Dell Streak to mention some of the mobile phones having 5" screen.
Where in the world are you when these phones were introduced to the market?

[deleted post]LOL! We are living in a world of giant mobile phones nowadays. Can't you see the trends? Even other brands are making phones with 5" screen. So you have to go with the flow otherwise you will be left behind with vintage phones.
