    What if this is it now forever and all thats left for smartfones is Xenon flash and optical zoom...Unless they have medical devices that look after our bodies using implants what else can they do with a smartfone???

    I hope its not the end and something new crops up..Like twitter renewed my enthusiasm then dual core proccessors,then new screens but we have reached a big plateau i think..If anyone has any new ideas shout up because unless you have time and money to do it yourself may well as let the big guns do it..We do have Xenon coming next year but what else??

    Right the only big thing is new design like sliders,clamshells or Nokia E90 style devices resembling micro laptops.

          Is it possible that Samsung are going to do what they did with the SgS 3? From memory everyone expected an awesome A15 processor but got quad core A9. They expected awesome screen but got Pentile Matrix display. And ugly design compared with SgS 2.

          Now everyone wants octa core and super amoled and they are getting LCD with Qualcomm. Hmm.

          Sammy fans are turning into the dumb sheep they say Apple fans are.

          Maybe they delayed the announcement because now they know they must put octa core in? I know that they have big competition from HTC now..

          You know a lot of people say that Samsung make the stuff apple use. But now with reports that Samsung designed octa core is over heating, and that they can't make the super amoled designed screen is not possible in the small size currently with over heating issues etc.. It shows designing is a lot harder than making.

          I always said, thinking up the wheel is a lot harder than making one.

It will disappointing for any samsung fan to see apple shutting down early. After all its the only threat samsung faces in terms of volume sold. Such specs are reserved not to kill the competition. Just enjoy the duopoly.

                        And the phablet coming in h2 is in direct competition against sgn3.
                        Even if s4 disappoints I would rather choose HTC one over it. After all no matter what it comes with we don't take our phone to the pool or share the shower with it.

                                AnonD-93161, 23 Feb 2013I would still go for the Xperia Z,some specs are better on ... moreWe still dont know full S4 spec yet and we will see by end of year who sells the most units..That said its not about high power spec its about quality..HTC has had shoddy tinny speakers for nearly a decade,Sony are not shining in any department and LG well enuf said..It does still seem Samsung and Apple rule the roost..

                                I go for what suites my needs and since no-one else can replicate Samsungs concert hall setting i stick with them altho an app on ios does the same but Apple are too restrictive.

                                I want the Samsung W999 clamshell but at 1000GBP they can go and run..Then they will turn round and say it did not sell well and folk dont want clamshells,,well i do cause still sick of these boring souless slabs..Thats all they are just a screen with few buttons on so no need for design.They are cheap to produce..Rant over.

                                    I would still go for the Xperia Z,some specs are better on the Galaxy IV,and some on the Xperia Z. But the Xperia Z is WATERPROOF(a big PLUS)! and the design is STUNNING
