Will try to make use of launchers i will post if it makes good colors with good battery standby. Using j5.6 and s4i9505. Most apps were moved by shareit.

Fresh wipe. Stock launcher 5.0.1. Disabled goo apps and sammy apps. Use shareit for no wallpaper from playstore to make screen black. Display from adaptive to basic. Making good results but screen is pale but battery standby is good.

i am good with lollipop.. observing battery.. love the s4.. dont need to root and never need roms.. just pure tweaking of settings and app manager..

Forget the Samsung lollipop and upgrade to CM13 instead. You will get all the benefits of Marshmallow without any bloatware + 6GB free space instantly.

Lollipop drains a lot of battery.. touchwiz drains a lot of battery.. to save your battery in lollipop i downloaded c launcher in playstore.. now it has good standbytime and doesnt drain like before.. enjoy..

Lollipop over the air (OTA), in other words downloading via the phone's settings menu is 100% reliable. If you download it when wifi is available,it will save your data. If you are downloading via mobile data, make sure you have enough data to download the software update. Approximately an update is about 1.2GB in size. And also make sure to have more than 50% of battery power. Do not remove the battery of the phone while downloading and installing the update. You will be unable to use the phone while installation of the update.
If you use a PC to get the software update, I recommend you to take your phone to a software expert or to a Samsung service centre. My final words- Lollipop is a big update over the old Kitat update!

I recommend everyone to get the Lollipop update. You will see that your phone is reborn. There is a massive change in Lollipop update in performance, internet speed and a bit improvement in battery life. The UI will replace with a more nicer and smoother one. Welcome Lollipop my friends.
