Hi every1!
Have had the SGS4 for 2 days now.
My first impression of the display compared to previous SGS3 is... it lacks the contrast and looks very "greyish". Looks excellent in settings for instanse but more smeared otherwise.
Also having problems getting the smart stuff working properly.
Now smart stop wont work at all. Even smart stay is unstable. Never any issues in S3..!
Trying to update software to se if helps but only get the message that: Service not available. The maximum number of downloads is reached. Try Kies. Wont work there eather. Downloads update but wont install.
Guess my unit is a tad faulty.
Software or hardware??
Any thoughts anyone...

iphone 4s is better among smart phones, simplicity is the best policy..

I think to much moni for plastic phone, Iphone is better qaulity build feel nicer. Way overpriced for a phoney

Does anyone know why there is little to no stock on S4's in UK and Ireland? I called a phone supplier and asked about it and I was told that many S4's got recalled.
Does anyone know anything about it?
Also, the stock issue, is it a marketing ploy or a genuine issue?

this is the best phone on the market so far in my opinion, the only problem with it so far i have seen is the damn storage, in the uk there is not a 32gb version available so 16gb only leaves about 8.5gb ish, not very good for installing much in the way of apps and games, considering the size, however one feature i never knew about its the harware camera button, sly little setting tucked away in the phone,for me this is a brilliant setting, means i can use it in more situations now, would really like to see a software update to allow for apps to be installed to sd card or at least the data to be placed on the sd card as the apps most of the time are small,

[deleted post]that was an ammusing post, i work in a phone store and sell both of these devices and own an s4 and my girlfriend owns an iphone 5 and you statement is complete bulls**t, however the person you replied to also chats sh*t, both are highly responsive and do not lag. however since using this galaxy s4 since 26th, i have noticed that if all sensors are running and background apps are not cleared it does cause a slight lag, but this is not samsungs fault, rather it is googles for not allowing for proper app management, so a simple few tweaks speed it back, i also do not use voice control and have disabled it and it speeds up the home button to instant response, out of the box, the iphone 5 is better in terms of speed, but upon messing with the settings and adjusting features the s4 becomes faster then the iphone, this is a fact!
